It's a ship, not a bloody boat you buggers!
6 December 2023
As the title says it, the amount of times the poorly informed actors call the floating beast they are on a boat, and not a ship is enough to rouse Lord Nelson from beyond the grave. I also call it a beast, because the scenes from which the actors are shown running away from the poorly CGI-ed Dracula, show the ship as this enormous thing, which is more similar to today's tourist cruisers than the claustrophobia inducing vessels as they once were.

However, as equally frustrating, there's also the question of the crew. Any sane person above the age of ten should know that you can not, and I repeat, cannot manage a ship of that size with barely a handful of able-bodied sailors. (Keep in mind that you can't count the cook or the surgeon.) This movie was clearly written by someone who's never seen or heard of a historical ship and all it takes for it's upkeep. Besides, was it so difficult to hire additional supporting actors to meddle with ropes in the backround? Or someone to steer the ship!? These people wouldn't have died from Dracula but from their own stupidity. Using a bloody rope to steer the ship? Are you joking?

The lack of any given life lore, except stares, on Dracula's part, makes it all the worse. The actors seem to start something but never finished it or execute it properly. This movie strips Dracula of any depth or mystic, it only makes him a weakly screeching blood harpy.

Don't watch this mess. Save yourself from the pain.

Dreadful drama.
12 April 2022
The relationship between Dumbledore and Grindelwald was the least gay thing in this whole movie.

There were teary eyes everywhere, while no real emotion was shown. Every action scene was predictable. The movie tried to be glum and ooze depression, but the first Harry Potter was far more successful at that without trying this hard. The whole dialogue could fit on two pages of text and 90% was "motivational quotes" without any real depth. All in all, very expensive on the outside without anything on the inside.

Also, Jude and Mads have the least screen time.
