Wind in the Wire (1993)
Great Movie I own it on DVD
I just saw this movie someone let me know that they had it on VHS and transferred it to DVD. It is really a strange film. it is roughly 45 minutes without commercial. The quality is quite good for an old VHS the beginning credits are partially missing and at the end there are one or two seconds of choppy parts. Burt Reynolds has the most screen time other than of course Randy Travis, The Director and The Kid. Burt has some lines and it features and duet at the end.
Lou Diamond Phillips has maybe one or two lines and the other is him complaining that he does not have enough lines.
Chuck Norris has literally no lines however you can almost hear him speak at the luau near the end of the party. check my IMDb message board post to know more about how to get this movie the movie has random music videos put in between the plot I guess to promote his album. I posted youtube videos and such to get this thing so I am proud of the fact that I finally found it.
Anyway this is the last chuck Norris movie that I did not own so I am complete so I feel rather good. Though it is not a legal copy because there is none, it is the best I could find.
No Tomorrow (1999)
An OK Gary Daniels with random action scenes featuring Master P
First off I expected this to be a master P and Gary Daniels buddy cop thing but it didn't turn out that way at all. It was basically a mediocre gary daniels movie with all the clichés tacked on.
could have been so much better if say master P and gary Daniels were like cops or something but instead it felt like a 75 minute gary daniels movie and a 15 minute master P. His two action scenes one in the beginning and one an hour in were OK and funny. I liked his gold plated guns
It just didn't match and left me unsatisfied.
all in all the acting and plot are thin to say the least. the budget seemed to be good though considering everything and I feel like Master P spent a lot of money on this. Its a shame he didn't spend more time figuring out a decent movie plot line.
Gary Daniels doesn't use any martial arts in this movie sadly so if you like him for that stay away. just maybe stay away from this in general not very good at all
The Night Stalker (1986)
Say OOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooodA
this movie was made in 1985. but the quality especially the DVD that i got from netflix is pretty bad. other than that charles napier character is really ever likable at all. Except maybe a little bit at the end. also the DVD still gallery is pathetic LOL.
the true reason i got this movie is for Robert Z'dar this is I believe his first starring role in a movie. He plays the serial killer and you never see his face until the end just like maniac cop. he breaks peoples neck like maniac cop. and throws people really far like maniac cop. in the interview in the spec edition of maniac cop DVD z'dar states that he instantly got the role for maniac cop because of this movie. Now I'm pretty sure why from the reasons I stated above.
the best part is the ending far superior than any other part of the film. also i enjoy the part when Z'dar says SAY OODA when he kills all the black pimps in the warehouse. there is lightning when he says it.
also there is a great part when z'dar is killing animals.
overall, if you like Z'dar or maniac cop you might want to watch and fast forward as well. this movie isn't really that entertaining at all except for that Z'dar is in it.
Neon City (1991)
If You like Ironside you'll like this movie for sure
This movie is pretty good its still watchable. It puts you in a different world and at the expense of very little. The budget may be small but the actors aren't bad except for that bad doctor he annoys me.
Michael Ironside shows a good performance as always. there is a sly Stallone kind of guy who is pretty cool a nice looking girl named vanity and a mystery Asian guy who is cool
The special effects aren't bad and there is enough gruesome violence to keep you posted. The annoyance to people may be the lighting but thats about it.
Just watch it and make your own judgment but I promise you wont be disappointed if you try not to compare this to mad max.
all in all if you like b scifi post apocalyptic movies I'm sure you'll enjoy this one.
P.S. its better than postman
The Big Sweat (1991)
The Big Sweat got me cold
I had no idea what was going on the whole time. Why would anyone care about this guy who steals money from a bank. He isn't cool and he has no personality whatsoever. This movie is just a really boring beginning and then a car cash that really goes no where. I mean are we suppose to be in the 70's but have car phones.
Anyway even with Robert Z'dar this movie does not have any valid point to watch. The ending ends something that never began. I usually like bad movies but this movie takes the cake. LOL its seem like it took them 1 day to film the entire movie. There is no tense moments at all.
I seriously doubt anyone liking this movie but if you want to watch it do it because you are wanting to watch one of the most boring and bizarre plots ever.
I don't know how to describe this movie but if I did I would help you out
Whiteforce (1988)
WoW this movie is pretty bad
this movie is not even viewable any more. It's a low budget action flick starring Sam Jones and no one else even worth mentioning. The plot is kind of weak and you don't even care about the characters. There are still some funny moments.
really bad sound effects.
laser discs when dropped sound like coins random speed ramps the highway scene felt like it was filmed all in one take it was kind of weird. the movie flowed like if someone had a camera guy not take any cuts so it was shot like a home video.
overall watch if you like Sam Jones even if you do its still kind of weak.
2019 - Dopo la caduta di New York (1983)
Low Budget Sci Fi Action movie pulls through
Though at first look you might think this movie will turn out bad. But if you actually keep watching there is plenty of action and a nice story line. The violence is nice especially the defacing scene as well as the eye gouging.
This movie reminds me a lot of future kick with don the dragon Wilson. They both have gory violence and random cyborg scenes.
All in all you cant watch this with a bunch of friends because the comments will get annoying. I suggest you watch it by yourself and develop your own theory on how good this movie is. Its like if escape from the new york took drugs.
