Animal (I) (2023)

A different genre of movie..For a selective audience

We must accept that the public ..the majority has widely accepted this movie.

A second part is on the way.

It has bagged best film .. Filmfare award.

Cinematography is awesome..music is terrific.. Action is great..Ranbir Kapoor is exceptional.

Bobby Deol is the surprise lot.

Less than 20 minutes of screen appearance has created lot of appreciation.

Rashmika as heroine is refreshing.. New faces are required at Bollywood.. So why so much hate for this movie.. Probably encouraged by Bollywood camp.. Since the director is from South industry.. Now we understand the poor rating.

We can..talk..talk.talk.

But public gives the final approval.. Blockbuster movie.. 9/10.

Ek Kunwari Ek Kunwara (1973)

Good movie

A good movie directed by the great Prakash Mehra.

Good entertainer..with some comedy and action.

A baby is the main character and Rakesh Roshan tries to return the baby to its parents.

Leena Chandravakar is very beautiful and acts well.

Pran as the villain is excellent as usual.

Music is OK.

There are many twists and turns which keep you on your seat.

Rakesh Roshan is a great actor but not so popular as other heroes.

Direction is good and you get connected with the flow of action.

I recommend this movie to watch on a Sunday afternoon.

The presence of the baby throughout the movie keep your interest to know the end.

7/10.

Jaane Jaan (2023)

Suspense at its best

Very great thriller.. Crime linked to Mathematics.. Nice story.. The actors are just fantastic.. No time of rest..flow of the movie is precise.. The director Sujoy Ghosh is a genius.. Story starts with a crime .. How to cover it .. Help from a neighbour.. A Mathematics teacher secretly in love with the murderer.. Kareena Kapoor shows maturity in the role and gives an impressive performance.. As police starts investigation it targets main suspect Kareena.. But at this stage there is some similarity with Drishyam..but it stops here.. The story direction moves in different directions .

I will stop here.. The end is stunning.. Suspense at its Best..

Adipurush (2023)

A Classic and modern presentation of Ramayana

I am very much impressed by the movie.

Focus is more on the war of Shree Ram and Ravan.

I must stress on the point that Bollywood has never shown interest to make a movie on Ramayana for the past 40 years and big stars have not shown interest to play part.

But Prabhas has taken the risk and I must say it is a success.

Critics may not like it for obvious reasons and various reviewers will try to show much hatred on this movie.

But I will advise you to watch Adipurush .. It is a visual successful movie .. Great music and excellent actors performance.

Don't listen or read the bad reviews.

Experiment it yourself.

Chup (2022)

Not the right tribute to Guru Dutt

Film start was good ..but too much reference to Guru Dutt which are not relevant.

Sunny Deol role is great and the other artists are just good.

Film ending is absolutely wrong..and the climax not appropriate.

R Balki has chosen the bad script and emotional direction put the film on the wrong path.

Songs are just average.

Suspense is none as the killer is known from the start.

So what remain ..the police enquiry is the main plot and the way it reached the killer is just coincidence.

Also note that the love story of the killer and the actress is not fit to the film ..the match is nil.

I will give 2 stars as too much expectation but low results.

Maa (1976)

Great movie- Great story- Top performance

When I watched Maa for the first time, I was very impressed.

Story flow is good , Dharmendra performance is top.

You are emotionally attached to the Elephant .

Watch it and enjoy.

My rating 8/10.

Toolsidas Junior (2022)

Great movie : Tribute to Rajiv Kapoor

Rajiv Kapoor is the smallest brother of Rishi & Randhir Kapoor. He was a good hero but did not have many movies to prove himself.

Toolsidas Junior is a nice movie - Story is good and the performance by all the actors are up to the standard.

Sanjay Dutt fits well the role .

Junior Toosidas performer, the child artiste acts well.

Rajiv Kapoor presence is felt during the whole movie.

A Royal salute to him.

Rating 9/10.

Thar (2022)

High expectations-End results low

Movie set up , scenes and acting good.

But the story progress could have been better.

At the end , we are left with something missing.

Great effort .

Radhe Shyam (2022)

Movie title should have been Palmistry...

Viewers can be confused by the movie title Radhe Shyam. Expecting a 100% Romantic movie.

The story is very interesting and the movie flows accordingly.

Edting could have been better.

The plus point is the Photography and magnificent views.

Radhe Shyam is a nice movie.

You will not regret viewing it.

My review 8/10.
