Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (2017)
It's alright
I was really interested in this movie because Tom and Jerry was my childhood!
I've watch the movie from start to finish and I got to say, it's alright.
At the start, it features Tom and Jerry searching for something to eat. They meet Charlie Bucket, a boy from a poor family. They later come across a wonka bar delivery driver, who turns out to be Spike, who later turns out to be a minion of evil chocolate factory owner called Slugworth.
The movie basically follows the story of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the chocolate factory, but with the Tom and Jerry skits going on in the background, which I didn't really have a problem with. Tuffy is also in this movie, as an Oompa Loompa, and a few cameo scenes of Droopy as a Mexican stereotype? Ok.
They were a few goofs as well. The animation was great but the facial expressions were a tad bit odd. Second, a part of the film didn't really make sense. Basically, Slugworth was the villan, trying to steal a gobstopper from Wonka's factory in order to make his business bloom. But after Tom, Charlie and Jerry got rid of Slugworth, he shortly returned as a good guy and a friend of Wonka.
Why he was being evil all along was because he was just looking for a heir and was afraid Tom and Jerry would INTERFERE with his plan...
I mean, they did? Didn't they?? Aaaargh, confusion.
Anyway, the voice acting was ok I guess, but felt like they didn't even try.
Even Willy Wonka seemed he wanted to rethink life.
Overall, it's good for a kids film.
A theatrical Tom and Jerry movie is in the works, hopefully they don't screw up with that...

The Amazing Bulk (2012)
Hilariously dreadful
I admit it: I actually ENJOY bad movie content. Not because I like them or anything, because I enjoy hysterically laughing at them for how BAD they are.
The CGI and green screen shots in this film is Godawfal, the actors are just so hard to watch. Their involvement in the film is just an imbarasment (maybe they agreed to be in it for their pay cheque in the end).
The story doesn't even make sense, it just hurts my brain.
Overall, this 'film' has got to be one of the worst superhero films currently out there.
And if you're going to pick this for movie night, just hysterically laugh about how BAD this film is.

The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants (2018)
The book novel series was my childhood, but a TV show really wasn't needed
Captain Underpants as an epic novel book series was my childhood! It was my favourite book series along with Diary of a Wimpy Kid, horrid Henry and many more.
On 2017, the movie for the book series came out. It wasn't bad, nor perfect, just decent.
Then on 2018, I heard the book series will also be getting an animated series. I was intrigued, so I gave it a watch on Netflix. And I got to say, it was a bit disappointing.
It had the two main characters from the books, George and Harold, along with other recurring characters from the books like Mr Krupp (aka captain underpants), Mr Meaner, Melvin and a few more, which leaves the rest of the characters to be new for this animated series.
This series to me just doesn't capture the feel of the novels by Dave Pilkey, and feels more like DreamWorks running out of ideas for TV shows.
The new added characters to the series can get a bit annoying from time to time but can still be likeable. The fart jokes were completely unfunny and felt just pathetic.
The narrator in this series was a tad bit irritating and wasn't really needed, and the comic reading narrator was 3x irritating with his obnoxious, screeching, kid-like voice for 1 minute straight which is quite cringy.
Overall, this series isn't terribly bad, nor great.
Just below average, and a show that nobody really asked for.

Big Cook Little Cook (2002)
Our Childhood
This show was the rage back in the day on Ceebebees, I can always remember myself watching it after primary school.
Minus the laughably awfal CGI animation of the intro, this is a show I recommend for kids 6 years and under
The Rubbish World of Dave Spud (2019)
Brilliant
A very good and funny animated series which can be enjoyed by many people any ages
