The Last Days (1998)
POWERFUL...HEARTBREAKING n INSPIRATIONAL
If we dont know our history both positive & negative we will never be able to understand what true sacrifices generations before us have made...im not jewish nor am i a religious man..some of the visual images in "The Last Days" were ones I myself will never be able to forget so imagine what the "survivors" had to deal with watching it EVERY night when they laid their heads down on their pillows expecting to be able to get a good comfortable nights sleep...Hitler was a human not a monster..we all need to remember that evil/good is within every single one of us & its up to us not to ever let 1 human get that powerful again to where he has his own people escorting previous friends to their last breaths...it's unimaginable that we the human race can be so damn manipulated to believe the best solution is the erasing of the entire population...we must be better...woke up at 630am on a sunday n watching this piece of history hurts but i couldnt allow myself to turn it off. Sometimes our pain is necessary to be able to truely feel the opposite which is happiness.
Uncut Gems (2019)
Sandler stepped his game up
Been a Sandler fan since Billy Madison...Uncut Gems is a great movie...keeps your stomach in nots constantly..very stressful chasing that ultimate score...as every person who lives a compulsive lifestyle knows were always making rash decisions without any consideration of how it affects our future or others around us...You cant help but feel for Ratner because he is in one hell of a cold streak..you could see the outcome the entire time it was just a matter of who not when..Spoiler alert...after seeing the end of the movie it makes me wonder if the beginning was actually a autopsy being performed and the whole movie he was already dead...we were just seeing how he lived the last few weeks of his life through the drs scope?..maybe im way off but it really makes you consider it
A Secret Love (2020)
Perfect example of true love
When I reflect on A secret Love I just smile and prey I will be so lucky to have what Terry and Pat had..Terry had the most youthful blue eyes that sparkled anytime she glanced at Pat..ive never had another couples warmth affect me as I absorbed all I could...i know the basic premise is 2 lady's falling in love in extremely different times and while I do appreciate that aspect to me it would be doing the love story an injustice if it starts getting attention from the LBG community just because it's 2 females...I believe Pat n Terry could of been any gender/race it wouldn't of mattered there destiny was to be together from the moment Pat wrote Terry that letter...somethings are just meant to be n there connection is 100% above any generation/gender/race thats the moral of their beautifully written boke
