Too Illogical To Be Good.
9 September 2020
First things first, Sequels don't impress you more often, do they?? The likes of Nolan triologies and Godfathers are exceptions. The movie, as a whole revolves around a man, whose enemy seeks revenge for his son's brutal death in the first part. The plot seems fine, but as the genre is action, we expect jumps, leaps, chases etc. Instead, his daughter will does most of the job. There are certain illogical scenes and less action. But, you can watch it once if you are really connected to the first part.

A Terrible Turnaround, Lame Characterisation
8 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The build-up of characters is terrible. Isn't the mother terrible?? Well, the daughters have their equal share. No one whacks a grieving mother with their words and acts. The married girl has no sense of dignity to tell her mother first about the marriage before the whole town knew.

Kevin costner, just after bits and pieces of drinks and talks, got a nerve to enter into a woman's bathroom and irony, she has no furious reactions at this act, at all...

Technically, the daughters should hate the mother for her foolishness. But nah, they all sit on a lawn table, laughing at one another, at the day of funeral, who died of their negligence and stupidity.

There's more, much more you can see, as the movie goes on... The disgusting, pathetic depiction of characters you can ever witness...

As it's said, it's good idea to skip this movie. Or else, the anger from no where, come and hug you to annoy.

Like a heavenly fairy tale
7 September 2020
Love don't need to be physical. It's the eyes that can talk, senses that can touch and hearts that collide to make every place on this beautiful earth, a HEAVEN... Mark Ruffalo, as usual was phenomenal and Reese Witherspoon was touching. It's a humorous enthralling ride of connection, touch and love. Love can be expressed on screen without stripping off clothes. This movie certainly proved it. It's a feel good romantic movie.

MAGICAL!!!
2 September 2020
Morgan freeman was one of my favourite actor if there was ever one... First things first, the plot is not subtle. It's simple and flowing. The scenes around are pleasant. This movie teaches a thing or two about imagination and creative writing. It's just that if you are stressed enough to do nothing but sip coffee and watch something soothing, then you can go for it...

FEELS LIKE THE MOVIE IS SUMMARY OF THE BOOK, NOT A WHOLE, CERTAINLY NOT BRIGHT....!!!!!
2 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
(Hello.... Bell tower, are you there??)

I don't always feel like movies make a good adaptation from books. The director tried his best to portray the book in minimal time by highlighting key points. But the small moments he missed over here and there adds worth to the story.

The director failed to show the pain of Finch and his worries that led him to "Darkness of Blue hole" The toxic relationship with his father, the bookstore flip flaps, Finch's closet with stars and many more... I don't know why director is reluctant to add some duration by adding these small clips. We can watch Finch and Violet all day long......

This movie feels like "HOLLOW" just the way Finch felt in the book (thing director failed to show). The cast is amazing, but he confined to little details which made this movie a "WASTED OPPORTUNITY" to do something more magical and remarkable...

I feel sorry for Jennifer Niven... You are robbed.. we are robbed...

"The book, I never forget... The movie I can barely remember"

Classic meaning of TRUE LOVE
11 August 2020
He may disappoint you, he may trouble you but "WHEN LOVE AND DUTY ARE ONE, THEN GRACE IS WITHIN YOU". A exemplary way to explain this to women these days who jump into fantasies just because their partner didn't satisfied them. Naomi and Norton played their roles well. For women who commit adultery, it's a must watch. Perhaps, they don't cheat their relationships to drive troubles in.

God made a STATEMENT. Sarah was probably the 'lamest' character ever created.
9 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The movie is not satisfying in many ways. It successfully promoted infidelity in a convincing way and portrayed 'LUST AS LOVE'. Sarah made a vow to god while marrying Henry(the poor victim of Sarah's selfish desires), but failed to fulfill it by lusting(It's not love, apparently) Maurice. She started the affair and continued it for years under Henry's nose. One fine day, in the accident when Maurice and Henry are hooking up, God made his first statement by not taking Henry away (to cause him the pain of betrayl and loss). God made his second statement by taking Sarah away as she don't deserve to live whatsoever.

Henry loved Sarah but never showed it in physical form. Unfortunately, Sarah meant love to be only physical. She was blinded by the LUST towards Maurice to see the meaning of true love. She has no respect for Henry she took him for a stranded hair all over the movie. Sorry for Henry to love most undeserving woman.

She inflicted pain all over to everyone at the end and Sarah was a horrible character that ever existed.

Ending doesn't make sense
31 July 2020
What one would do if their wife screws up with a salesman? I couldn't get the intention of director to portray walker as gentleman. I mean, Cmon... He made out with a married woman and didn't say a word to her that it's wrong. Poor Marty and kids have to suffer the fantasies of disgusting young lady. She should NEVER NEVER be forgiven. How can one commit such heinous act and get away with it? Divorce must have been the perfect ending.
