Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Becoming: Part 2 (1998)
A comedy series poor attempt at drama
This show is a comedy. Ask anyone who's seen it and they will tell you it's a comedy. It is certainly NOT a drama. I don't understand why this godawful two-parter had to be made. This truly ruined the series for me. I was enjoying most of the episodes, but if there are anymore that try too hard at melodrama then I quit now. This was excruciatingly painful to watch. Terrible writing, terrible acting, terrible flashback origin scenes, terrible soundtrack at the end and the most cliche sword fight scene of all time. I know most people will disagree with my review, but most people are very very stupid.
Stargate: Atlantis: The Ark (2007)
Easily the worst episode of the series
This episode is unbearable. Not only is the plot boring and inconsistent, but the acting by those two non-actors is so incredibly bad, why didn't the casting director just cast bit-part actors. These two complete morons have clearly never acted a day in their lives. There isn't even a single moment that made me chuckle. Normally a bad episode of Atlantis has at least one redeeming moment, but this tremendously terrible episode is brutally excruciating the entire way through. It is one of the few episodes that can truly be skipped. If it weren't for Season 4 and 5 being so much better I'd say just quit the show now. Season 3 was their worst season, by far.
Castle: The Third Man (2010)
How stupid do you have to be
There is a scene where Castle says quite literally the stupidest thing I've ever heard on any TV series to date. He says "Before they had refrigeration they had ice boxes. You kept your food cool by keeping it in a box filled with ice." Before refrigeration they didn't have freezers so where are they getting the ice? Unless you lived in the Arctic or only used the ice box during cold winter days where the temperatures reach below zero, there is no way you could keep ice in a box. First, where are you getting the ice. You can't make the ice, so where is it coming from. Secondly, how is a box in a warm room going to stay frozen. Before refrigeration there was food drying, canning, curing, and several other ways to preserve food, but they didn't freeze it unless they lived in the Arctic.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 5: The Gunslinger (2019)
This episode just made me quit the show
I was thinking of writing a review for the previous episode because it was inexcusably bad, but I didn't feel it necessary to waste my time reviewing such garbage, but this tremendously awful episode was so out of this universe bad I can't help but vent my frustration. I was surprised at how good the pilot episode was and thought: "Wow! Finally a good modern day television series." I thought maybe it wasn't some generic box-checking crap produced by millennials, but here we are. Another piece of millennial tripe. I can't bring myself to even fathom the level of stupidity and incompetence it must take to create this level of trash. This is the worst show ever made. I quit!
The Walking Dead: Triggerfinger (2012)
There is no Sunset
Why is it suddenly night? This episode picks up right where the last episode left off. Literally starting right from the second of the gunshot. In the previous episode this scene happened during the day. Sunlight was shining into the bar and everything. Then it's suddenly night, many hours after the sun has gone down. So, did he just stand there like a statue for hours and Glenn and Hershal too? They stand there for 3 hours in a frozen pose? Was this episode made by the hack whom made Fury or that episode Bugs from Supernatural? I know this show has really bad writing but this is beyond ridiculous.
The X Files: Ice (1993)
Complete and total ripoff of The Thing
I don't even know how this episode was legally aloud to be aired. It is a complete ripoff of the The Thing's original script in every way. The plot is exactly the same, the scenes are all the exact same, even the location is exactly the same. The only difference is that The Thing had good acting (Kurt Russel), good directing (John Carpenter), and a Hollywood budget. This episode takes The Thing and butchers the script like a B-horror. If this was an episode that was inspired by The Thing then it would stand to reason that most things would be different, the location, the monster, the characters, but no. There was no originality of any kind. You can read the original script for The Thing and you have this exact episode scene for scene.
Rescue Me (2004)
Great Show, but Terrible Characters and Writing
Dennis Leary is the one and only great thing about this show. The other firefighters in Tommy's crew are pretty good for the most part, but the women basically have no structure or character development. It's as though the writers are all men whom have no single clue as to how a woman thinks or acts. The actress who plays Sheila is amazing but Shaila's character is by far the worst, most poorly written character out of any tv series ever made. Janet's character is more hatable than anything in existence and played by a horrendously bad actress. Colleen, well, no one likes Colleen. That female firefighter, then Nez, and the list goes on.
Who wrote this garbage?
The Sopranos: Down Neck (1999)
Flashbacks, Melphie and ADD
If there was ever an episode of Sopranos that should have been thrown in the trash, it's this one. Between having to sit through more than 20 minutes of pointless flashback scenes with non-actors and dealing with Melphie's grating voice for another 15 minutes the episode revolves around the topic of ADD (made up by the pharmaceutical industry). There may have been one 30 second part in this entire episode that wasn't the most uninteresting crap in the world, but I don't remember it.
So, if that weren't enough they decide to play the most annoying song of all time (White Rabbit) not once, but twice. That's just downright intolerable.
Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1990)
Talk About Grossly Over-rated
This show is seriously bad. I mean, really seriously bad. It was never intended to be a very good show to begin with. It's a children's show created by children for children. It was made on a very low budget, they didn't cast any real actors, it wasn't directed by any real directors. Everyone always knew it was an after-school distraction for immature kids. It is at the very same quality as Goosebumps. Anyone giving this a rating higher than 1/10 is obviously either being paid to do so or they're just being nostalgic. I'll admit I enjoyed watching it sometimes as a kid, but even then I knew the show was ridiculous and no kid would ever admit to their peers that they ever watched it.
Stargate SG-1: Wormhole X-Treme! (2001)
By far the worst episode of the series
This episode is inexcusable. It wasn't even an episode of Stargate. It was one of those over-used cliches of breaking the fourth wall and they did it terribly. No one cares about the parody scenes. Over half of the entire episode is just a parody with extremely bad actors. The very few scenes with the regular cast members were immemorable to say the least. This was one of those episodes you can completely skip and won't miss anything. I feel sorry for the actors whom have worked so hard on this show to just sit on the sidelines and watch this catastrophe of a horrendously bad episode being shot in the studio, without sets, props, costumes or scripts.
Stargate SG-1: Bloodlines (1997)
What's with all the bad acting?
Seriously though, what is with the terrible acting in this episode. Teal'c is always bad, so this episode was exceptionally awful because it was a Teal'c episode, but the fact that every small roll played in this episode was atrocious is just inexcusable. The actors they got must have been people off the street because there is no way in hell their performances could be considered acting.
This is the first episode that I had to begin skipping scenes just to get through it. I wanted it to end so I could get to the next episode, but now I'm not sure if I want to continue watching the series. If this episode is any indication, then it's safe to say the series itself is unwatchably bad.
Star Trek: Voyager: Basics, Part II (1996)
Screaming babies
They cast a baby to play two rolls in this episode. One was Wildman's screaming baby, the other was Seska's screaming baby. They decide this episode would be really authentic if they have the babies shriek very loudly in every scene through-out this god-awful episode. There is no excuse for screaming babies in TV and yet this episode deemed it necessary to have two screaming babies to cover the majority of the episode. I watched the episode on mute with subtitles to get through it.
Babies in real life only scream like that about 2% of the time, yet television producers and show-runners seem to think babies actual scream 100% of the time. This episode should be banned, it's so bad.
Justified: The Kids Aren't All Right (2014)
Loretta and Amy Smart, just skip this episode
After we thought the worst character of all time was finally gone from the show they decided to bring back Loretta. That's right. Loretta is back. After I skipped the first scene with Loretta the following scene introduces a new character played by Amy Smart (the worst actress of all time). What is going on with this episode? Did the producer decide, "Hey, let's see if we can make the worst episode of all time."
So, the episode continues to get worse from this point on. I won't go into details but if the show continues down this horrendous path I'm going to have to quit the show after 4 excellent seasons.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Sword of Kahless (1995)
A Very Low-budget Episode
Quite literally 36 minutes of this episode was done in that cheap-looking cave, but it was also in the exact same spot of that cheap-looking cave. They didn't even change the background props. They re-use the same scene with the sword twice and only used 2 cast members for the entirety of the episode. Was there seriously no money for the making of this episode? Was it that the script was so bad they didn't feel it necessary to put any effort into the production of this episode? It's a mystery as to why this episode had to be made so cheaply. The plot had potential, but suffered the same fate as most DS9 episodes.
Shameless: But at Last Came a Knock (2011)
Monica episodes are the worst
Can someone make a comprehensive list of all the Monica episodes so we can make sure to skip them? The actress playing her is amazing and I believe her character and her acting, but the over-the-top drama involving her is absolutely unnecessary. There is no reason to over-do the drama in this series like this. The next episode was equally as bad as this one for the same reason.
The show has pure gold up until this melodramatic episode. Later in the series they decide to make Monica a regular character so that they can do that over-the-top melodrama every episode. This series starts out strong because of it's whit and shockingly offensive humour but falls flat when it starts being only about the drama.
Beavis and Butt-Head (2022)
It's Back!!!
Memories of lying awake in bed, watching MTV late night for Beavis & Butthead. Being one of my favourite shows it was quite the thrill to see it made a return decades later. I had a feeling Mike Judge probably thought of many different scenarios for B&B throughout the years. I imagine he'd thought of quite a few and considered doing the show again. I'm so glad he did because I just saw episode one and it hasn't lost a single fibre of it's funny. The voices are the same (Mike Judge voices them both), they're level of stupidity as well as their offensive behaviour haven't lost any of it's substance. It feels more or less the same as the original show. I truly hope this show does a great many episodes before it's run it's course. It's second course.
Vanilla Sky (2001)
What not to do when making a movie
This film is now being used in film schools as an example of what not to do when making a movie. New, aspiring directors and writers can learn from this example. Vanilla Sky is one of the lowest rated films on IMDB for good reason. 6.8.
House of the Dragon: The Heirs of the Dragon (2022)
The Worst Show I've Ever Wasted Time Watching
I want a refund for that hour of my life I've never get back. This was truly the worst show I've ever seen in my entire life. It should be called "Disney's Pixar Game of Thrones" because it was just a low-grade cartoony CGI copy of GoT with no script and horrible acting, bad editing and quick-cuts, the soundtrack was exactly the same as GoT, not original in anyway. Anyone who disagreed is an adolescent child or a paid critic.
Vikings: All His Angels (2016)
My headline would have been a spoiler
This is the actual series finale. There is no reason to keep watching the series after this episode unless you enjoy bad writing, bad directing, and some bad acting. The series has it's moments after this "final" episode, but it kinda really sorta actually ends here.
Vikings: The Outsider (2016)
Only skip this episode if you like the show
So nothing at all happens in this entire episode. Not even joking. Not a single thing happens. If you skip this episode and start the next you won't miss anything.
Home Movie: The Princess Bride (2020)
Stop Butchering a Classic
Don't touch Princess Bride. It's easily one of the best movies of all time. This series ruins the film for anyone who hasn't seen it. DO NOT WATCH THIS SHOW!!! Be for-warned.
Lucifer: It Never Ends Well for the Chicken (2020)
Tip: Skip to very end for story
The only part of this episode that has anything to do with the show's story happens at the very end. It's also skippable though because nothing important happens.
Lucifer: Save Lucifer (2019)
Why was there a knife under the table?
Why was there a knife under the table? This episode was doing so well until they decided to magically tape a knife under a table for no reason whatsoever. Suspending disbelief only goes so far.
Breaking Bad: Phoenix (2009)
Wah Wah Wah for 40 minutes
If you're like most viewers you probably can't stand the sound of a baby crying in a tv show. Well it just so happens that over 90% of this episode is a baby crying excessively, almost always for no other reason than she's just in the scene. While this episode has a central plot point at the end which mostly makes up for the rest of this screechfest, it still doesn't excuse all pointless Skyler and baby scenes. The first one in the hospital was enough for the episode.
Hellboy (2019)
Remakes are just so original
This is a biased, but totally accurate review. I have not seen this movie. I will never see this movie. I would remove my eyes with a teaspoon before I'd ever watch this movie. It's a remake.
