The Batman (2022)

Incredible

This movie is incredible. Robert Pattinson was perfectly casted for this role. He was able to portray so many beautiful emotions in his character which worked extremely well with the storyline. Zoe Kravitz was an amazing cat woman, she portrayed a strong and indipendent character and her chemistry with Pattinson was just beautiful. All of the casting in this movie in my opinion was perfect, everybody's role was perfect for them and really made the storyline incredible. Overall amazing movie, i loved the cinematography and how dark the overal movie was, i'm guessing there will be a sequel, i'm very excited to see that.

Malcolm & Marie (2021)

Acting is Outstanding...

Really enjoyed the whole look and creative vision of this film. The acting though is what really stood out for me, i loved that there were only two people in the whole film, it really added a depth of emotions from me as an audience member watching this movie as i was able to really feel like i was genuinely watching two people communicate.

Zendaya's preformance of Marie was absolutely beautiful, she portrayed so many different emotions on screen that it was almost hard to keep up. She has yet to fail to let me down in her acting in her many new roles in 2021, especially following her outstanding preformance in Euphoria. She portrayed her performance as Marie so well i forgot she was acting half of the time, her ability to use the script and use the writing to create a phenomenal character with so much demention to her was just beautiful.

John David Washington's performance of Malcolm was also incredible. I haven't seen him in anything else so far, but after this film it's definitely on my watchlist. He outdid himself in this film, Malcolm is a angry, hardworking, caring but also a character with so much to look at, and think about when watching him on screen. His rage moments in this film is what really pushed his acting to the next level. He showed the angry stages through to the caring stages so well, just as Zendaya also portrayed.

As well as the phenomenal acting, the cinematography and the black and white picture visuals is just beautiful to watch. It added a depth of emotion to the characters and really made me feel sympathy towards the two characters.

This movie was great, and i hope to see these two actors working together again, amazing chemistry and worked incredibly well together.

Don't Look Up (2021)

I can imagine this would be frighteningly accurate

Don't look up, was a great drama, i thought the comedy was great but could have been better with some blunt jokes or some better writing. Thought the movie very accurately shows how society and the public would actually react if this was to ever happen. Would recommend.

Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

This movie was brilliant. There was just enough action and just enough heart and soul involved. The whole reunion of the other spider-man's was a brilliant and exciting surprise. I loved Tom Holland in this movie, i thought the first spiderman he was a bit cringe as his character was a teenager but i found his character was very well adapted and fun to watch .

The Dreamers (2003)

Really enjoyed The cinematography of The dreamers was very beautiful, it had stunning french views and i loved how involved cinema was actually talked about in this film. I loved how it referenced other films very well, but not in a cliche sort of way. I also really enjoyed the storyline, some parts were very strange but i enjoyed it.

Atonement (2007)

first 50 minutes were great !

I found the beginning (first 50 minutes) of the movie was really good, the pacing was very well done and the romantic energy between Keira Knightley's Character and James McAvoy's character was clearly very clear with a lot of chemistry between the two. The cinematography of this film was very beautiful, it had beautiful landscapes of the war scenes, and the romance between the couple. The letter mix up was a funny twist to the story and made it very interesting and exiting to find out what was going to happen next. The costuming of Keira knightley's green dress was very well done, the green backless flowy dress, really made her stand out and made it exciting to watch. I found after the first 50 minutes the film began to get a little slow, i was expecting to see a lot more of the romance between Cecilia and Robbie but instead it was more between the loss of not being able to see each other and how it has been effecting them both separately. I found the character development in Briony very interesting, and the twist with her at the end talking about her book was a good ending and i enjoyed it. I just found the middle of this movie to be a bit slow and could of been a lot better, but overall i do think it's a pretty good romance/drama movie.

Euphoria (2019– )

Absolutely Incredible

Very late to watching this, but wow, Euphoria is an absolutely incredible show, everything about it is just perfect, the storylines, the costumes, the music, the actors, the characters, the script. I honestly can't find bits to pin point that i didn't like about the series exept for when Jules went off into thr city, i found that a bit random, but other than that an absolutely incredible show. The actors in this series are phenomenal, Zendaya portrays Rue so well, and i was brought to tears most episodes due to her and the entire casts amazing acting. The show doesn't glamorise or try to shy away from any of the important topics talked and shown on this show, they portray all these things very well and show the devastation of all these situations. This show is a must watch for sure!!

Spencer (2021)

Found the storyline so boring, my focus was being lost all the time. Nothing actually happened, I found Kristen Stewart looked very similar to Diana but i found the way she interrupted Diana's voice was often a bit cringe and over the top, felt like this could have been a lot better than it was.

Last Night in Soho (2021)

Loved "Last night in Soho" it had a very interesting storyline with inspirations from the movies like "the black swan". The cinematography was incredible along with the music , outfits and actors. The whole setting of the movie was so fun and exciting to watch, and i would definitely watch it again. The music as well was incredible and added a bit of fun to the movie. The brilliant non stop plot twists also keep you very hooked and make u want to keep watching. Would definitely recommend!

Bruised (2020)

Halle Berry brought heart and soul into her character of Jackie Justice, i really enjoyed the storyline of "Bruised" i thought there were many good points in it which made it a really good first attempt for directing by Halle Berry.

House of Gucci (2021)

not bad but not amazing

Watched House of Gucci last night, really enjoyed the first half, as it got to the second half i did find it dragged on a bit and there were a lot of boring scenes that i found weren't much fun to watch. Lady Gaga's preformance was incredible in this movie, the accent, the attitude and her whole demeanour. The other actors such as Adam Driver, Al Pacino and Jared Leto also gave great preformances, but Lady Gaga's just blew me away , she brought heart and soul to her performance of Patrizia Reggiani. The costume, set design and cinematography of this movie was also fantastic and was a joy to watch.

Dune (2021)

Fantastic visuals but confusing storyline

I didnt know exactly what to expect when it came to Dune , i've heard many mixed reviews of good and bad. The cinematography was amazing, it was a incredible experience to actually watch it and see all these amazing shots of the movie, but the storyline made absolutely no sense , it was hard to follow and it didn't make it an enjoyable watch as it was so confusing. I also found the movie to be pretty boring and not that enjoyable, this movie could have been brilliant i feel , the actors, the soundtrack and the cinematography really made the movie SOMETHING, but if the storyline was clearer and wasn't as boring, it could of been an amazing film!

Control (2004)

Brilliant performances

The characters in this movie are perfectly casted. The acting was actually pretty good in Control. The storyline was really interesting and i enjoyed it, there was still a little something i think that was needed to make it an absolute great movie. I thought the ending could of been made a lot better, but other than that pretty good movie!

Britney vs Spears (2021)

I enjoyed this documentary, it had a lot of information about Britney Spears, which is obviously what the documentary film is about, but i wish the documentary was made to be a little bit more exiting and maybe edited and shown in different ways other than just interviews!

I enjoyed this movie, Jake Gyllenhaal always plays his characters exceptionally well, but i just felt like i'd seen a movie very similar to this which was better , and that was the call with Halle Berry , i thought that movie was more intense and enjoyable, but i recommend watching The Guilty it was still a good movie!

Grand Army (2020)

An amazing deception of today's society

Grand army NEEDS a season 2, it's such a shame they have cancelled it. Grand army is the only series i've seen nowadays that actually shows the reality of teens in school in this society we are growing up in. The cast as well were also incredible, and loved the focus on different peoples problems they had to deal with. I would recommend watching Grand Army, it was fantastic.

Ready or Not (I) (2019)

This movie was actually incredible, Samara Weavings character was incredible and made us laugh as well as the rest of the cast. The movie was scary but not too much, i would recommend watching this movie, it was so great!

Jojo Rabbit (2019)

Made me laugh and made me cry. The comedy in the movie had me laughing loads and then soon after made me cry, the differences in the movie between all the characters was incredible. I would 100% recommend watching this movie!

Multi-Facial (1995)

Vin's best work!

Vin Diesel is probably mostly known for the fast and furious franchise which is great, but doesn't really show off his acting skills, Multi-Facial really did show off how good of an actor he really is. Great short film, I'd recommend.

Outer Banks (2020– )

season 2 was AMAZING!

Season 1 of outer-banks was incredible, so unrealistic and would probably never happen, but can't deny it was an exiting and fun watch. I had very high hopes for season 2, and wow did it deliver, so many plot twists, so many cliff hangers and so much joy to watch. Finished it in one day, if that makes anyone more likely to watch it. Fantastic, would definitely recommend. !

F9: The Fast Saga (2021)

Yes.. it was unrealistic, and yes the physics in this movie doesn't make sense. But who cares?, it was entertaining, great cast, lots of laughs. Action movies are never massively realistic, but it's main focus is to pull the audience in and create exiting entertainment that we haven't seen before, and that's exactly what's been done. I would recommend the movie definitely, and the credit scene has just made me so exited for Fast 10.

I watched this movie after i'd seen the fast and furious movies and loved Michelle's character of Letty in them so much, so i thought i would give this movie a go, and Wow it's fantastic, the growth in her character really shows and i love her whole attitude of not giving up and being strong and powerful. Would definitely recommend!!

I would say that the first half of this movie is boring but the second half where it shows how much letty and dom's relationship has grown and how much they mean to each other is amazing.
