Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu: Game of Masks (2018)
Utterly Breathtaking
This could quite possibly be the most well done and chilling episode in Ninjago's 10+ year history. Following the shocking and unpredictable Quiet One identity twist, all of Harumi's dark and twisted intentions are revealed in the darkest, most tragic, and all around horrific way possible. The build up to the fight between Harumi and Lloyd is beautifully written, and the tension is unbearable. The fight between Lloyd and Harumi is equally thrilling and tragic, and things get even crazier turn when Harumi puts the Mask of Hatred on. The writing and dialogue are phenomenal, quite possibly the best in Ninjago's sixteen season long franchise. We also get spectacular music that would be used frequently throughout the rest of the Ninjago franchise. Plus, we get Harumi's unbearably sad backstory that hits hard every time. 😢
Naruto: The Demon in the Snow (2003)
Best episode of the season
Everything about this episode is perfect. It's incredibly emotional, triumphantly epic, and amazingly ended. Be prepared to have the cry of your life at the end. 😪
Live and Let Die (1973)
Underrated; One of the Best Bond Films
While "Live and Let Die" (1973) is definitely one of the most divisive Bond films, whether you like it or not, you have to admit that the pros about the film elevate it extremely well. It is one of my favorite movies of the franchise and I consider it to be one of the best. I say this mainly because it has one of the best casts of the franchise. A lot of the older Bond movies have great characters, but besides Bond, the characters aren't always acted very well. "Live and Let Die" not only has a great girl, Bond, and ensemble of villains, but all of them are acted wonderfully. Some people say that Roger Moore doesn't feel fully comfortable in the role in this movie, which I can slightly see why, but I think Moore still resembles his charm, humor, and fun kind of dark side very well. Jane Seymour as Solitaire is a more realistic Bond girl that the viewer really feels for. Yaphet Koto's performance as Mr. Big starts out "meh", but gets very intense and fun in the second half of the film. Jeffery Holder is AWESOME as Baron Samedi. There is only one scene where his performance isn't good. He's sinister, weirdly funny, and is just a fun presence to see onscreen. Whenever I watch the movie, as soon as Baron Samedi enters the screen, I say, "Yes!!!" Another reason why I love "Live and Let Die" so much is the music. Not only is Paul McCartney's theme song awesome, but so is the score throughout the film. I love how the instrumentals from the theme song are used as part of the score for the film. The movie also has great action, especially the boat chase. Like "Dr. No", the action might not be as big and intense as the later Moore films in the Bond franchise, but it's still fun to watch. Being that I love the Blaxploitation genre, I love the Blaxploitation elements in the film. I also think the voodoo plot is crapped on a little too much. I think it's unique (definitely weird) and isn't too corny or silly. Even if you don't like this film, please don't crap on it!
Killer's Kiss (1955)
Surprisingly Great early Kubrick film
Wow! 6.6?! That's surprising! This was a great movie with great visuals and filmmaking, great lead performances and a fun and exciting climax.
Definitely check this one out if you are a Kubrick fan and like the film-noir genre!
Child's Play (2019)
WAY Better than the Original
I would like to point out that this version of Child's Play is very different from the original. Not just because it takes place in a modern universe with modern technology, but because it is a lot more fun than it is disturbing. Yes, it still can be scary as *!$@# sometimes, but this still doesn't take away the fun feel of this version.
I also would like to point out that the acting (Aubrey Plaza was SO MUCH BETTER than Catherine Hicks) and the voice of Mark Hamil as Chucky are both 100% great.
I think this deserves a much higher rating and it shouldn't be missed by horror lovers
