Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide (2004)
One of the best things to come out of Nick in ages!
And what do they do with a good thing? Of course they cancel it! But still, this is a great kids show. It's original. The comedy is wonderful, and the actors are talented.
By far, my favorite character is the janitor Gordy, who also happens to be the voice of Cosmo from The Fairly OddParents. He seems to take some characteristics from Cosmo and uses them for Gordy! The plots are usually about school, but they take the idea and run with it as far away as they possibly can! They find clever ways of making it funny without being too over the top.
All in all, this is a wonderful show that I would like to see released on DVD! This show deserves more than what Nick gave it. In fact, they don't even show re-runs anymore! What's up with that? Anyway, if you ever get the chance to check this show out, then it's worth your time! It's 30 minutes of your time well spent!
Disaster Movie (2008)
The short and to the point review of "Disaster Movie"
It f*cking sucks!
Well, there needs to be 10 lines of text. Damn.
Anyway, well what can I say about this movie? Not much more since the point has already been stated. But seriously, do not ever go see this movie. At all. This movie will suck the soul right out of your body!
The movie is basically a big parody of Cloverfield and it spoofs Twister in there somewhere and the only way the main characters can stop the horrible events is to return the crystal skull back to it's alter. Oh, I get it! It parodies two movies at once! That's really not that funny!
The movie is more or less a character starts walking around, notices something happening and then another character comes in and and notices what's happening says one line and you never see them in the movie again. Then another character comes in and sees another character and says "Whoa, Oh My God blah blah blah blah!" and then another character says a line and doesn't appear in the movie. Insert recycled "joke" here and then repeat.
So, does that sound at all GOOD to you? If so, go see it, but I just hope you know that I already dislike you. The only way anyone will enjoy this movie is if they go see it with a funny friend or something and make witty comments throughout the whole movie.
Friedberg & Seltzer are the two reasons I would like to bring back public hangings. That may sound harsh, but this sh*tstain of a movie p*ssed me off more than anything because this movie makes you feel like you just got f**ked in the a*s for $8.50 for 90 minutes straight. That should be illegal. Well, it is illegal, but they didn't make it illegal for movies, and IT SHOULD BE!
Well, that's enough of my rants.
