Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002)
How this garbage made it to the screen, no one will ever know.
We usually spend our hard earned money on entertainment venues, and movies are no exception. Even the worst movies are usually worth the movie ticket. With Kung Pow, I should not only be reimbursed, but should be compensated for the mental anguish this movie caused. I have seen some bad movies over the years, but this takes the prize. I should sue for false advertisement leading me to waste gas money, time, mileage, the cost of a movie ticket, and the cost of raisenettes and a Pepsi (which of course in a theatre costs an arm and a leg), in the hopes of seeing a good comedy to lighten the aftermath of a bad day were shattered. This movie is so pathetic and awful, I almost gnawed my arm off to make it through to the end.
Whatever you do, DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE. Save your money, do not even rent it, and the promise of a sequel at the end only makes my faith in humanity dissolve completely. The people who made this movie should never be allowed to make another one, or work in the industry again. And quote me on this, "If the sequel is made it will ensure no one will ever see another movie made by you."
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
Excellent movie, but read the books also
I have noticed a few comments of disappointed people. Take the time to read the books and then see the movie again, then comment and see how you feel. This movie was not entirely true to the book, but then again what movie is. To me this movie is the greatest of all time, but thats my opinion.
I understand the movie had to be cut shorter than the books, but I know I am not the only fan who would not mind a fifteen hour sit to see it unabridged, but still Peter Jackson did a spectacular job and I take my hat off to him. Two thumbs up, Bravo!

Battlefield Earth (2000)
What have they done?????
When I was younger my dad gave me a book to read, the title
Battlefield Earth by L. Ron Hubbard. Iread the entire book in 2 hours (1050 pages). It was by and far one of the best novels I have ever read. When I heard they were coming out with a movie, I figured with the technology they have today it would do the book at least marginal justice. BIG MISTAKE. I know movies are almost never as good as the books they are based on, but to make a movie that has almost nothing to do with the book, come on. There are a whole lot of people who will never read the book now because of this mockery of a movie. The only things that matched the book were Johnny leaving the mountains and Terl as head of Security and the idea of the gold. I am just glad that L. Ron Hubbard didn't live to see this movie. It probably would have killed him. I give every movie a chance, but this is the worst movie I have seen.
Total Action + NO STORY = Garbage
I just hope people will forget about this movie and read the book. (Small chance now that it has the Movie pictures on it's cover).
The book is a fast paced action with everything you could want in a story. The movie is fast paced action with no storyline, no character builders and approximately .000000000000000000000000000001% of the book.
I give this movie two thumbs down. Save an hour and a half of your life. DON'T SEE IT.
Hellraiser: Inferno (2000)
This is a great psychological thriller....
Hellraiser Inferno was a great movie. The acting could have been better, but it took a completely different turn than I expected it to.
Pinhead is what he was in the first two Hellraisers, A judge of Hell. If you notice Hellraiser 3 and Bloodline make him the bad guy, while in the first two movies it was the humans who were the evil ones.
This movie requires you to THINK. If you don't like having to think about a movie don't watch it, but if you liked the Blair Witch Project, You will like this movie.
This sequel brings back the style of the first two, but with enough difference to shock you in new ways. I believe this movie gets the point across that I think Clive Barker was trying to get across when he started this series, You create your own Hell, and you confront your own demons.
This movie is not like the rest of the series. It is more of a psychological terror than a slasher film. Give this movie a chance, and think about it.
