Pretty good

Just from viewing the movie the cast was excellent with their acting, the deaths weren't cringey and were believable. The flow was smooth and wasn't confusing, everything was explained well enough where you didn't feel like it was dumbed down to point where it became annoying. The believability was good and only had a few minor holes such as the disease, in which it contradicted the script/ story. But mostly it was valid. The ending was a great way to conclude the movie, it didn't make it feel unfinished.

It was decent

Warning: Spoilers
This movie is okay and I would recommend it to someone that would rather just want to kill some time or need something to just play in the background while they're working on an assignment or something other than that. Otherwise, if you want to take the time to watch it, go ahead. The acting was actually good considering that its lead role was Sean Connery so it was expected to have good acting. The flow of the movie was slightly muddled consider that it had some inconsistencies such as Dr.Crane's relationship, which was not once at all explained until she explained that she was engaged and having a wedding in the winter. The other inconsistency was Dr. Campbell's reason for staying there on the island for so long. The believability of the movie was a semi, meaning that there are things that they could have changed to help out the story such as the disease they decided to use and how they found the cure.

It's meh...

Warning: Spoilers
This movie wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The quality of acting wasn't anything extravagant and merely okay, no one had superior acting skills and was on the same level of beginner and intermediate. The flow of the story was decent and could've been more smoother as far as dialogue and consistency, but the believability of the story was something that definitely needed work, there were many inconsistencies of the character specifically the virologist, she should've been wearing protective equipment from the beginning but that source of common sense was clearly lacking. The child that was going to be used for his antibodies also seem like a child sacrifice. Then lastly the ending was very rushed and vague, there was no information about how they created the cure, or how long it took.

The Happening (2008)

Highly underwhelming

Warning: Spoilers
This movie was possibly one of the worst things that could exist from the works of Shyamalan. It does not make any type of sense and the story just becomes more and more annoying as you watch, and as far as it made sense...IT DOESNT AT ALL!!! I wouldn't even recommend showing this movie to even my worst enemy. The acting was even worse, I've seen children act better than this and considering that these are known names in the movie industry overwhelms me on how they failed to realize that this was the worst role they could have taken. But the believability of the storyline was possibly the worst idea to grace a script, out of all things in the universe that could spread disease, the first thing that the director and writer considered to be "threatening" was trees...not aliens, not a botched experiment, but a group of trees that hated humans just because they felt like that it was suddenly necessary.
