Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023)
The Greatest Mission Yet....
Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One is an extremely brilliant film. It is a thrill ride from start to finish and delivers great action pieces. It delivers on so many levels. It's filled with intense action and emotion. The stunts are the best they have ever been and I feels real. Dead Reckoning is different than the missions in the past. And the 7th installment they are up against an AI weapon that could ultimately destroy the universe. This film is along the lines of an action thriller but still delivers on the comedy and what you get from a mission Impossible movie. Tom Cruise returns as Ethan Hunt and delivers in incredible performance. In a new addition Hayley Attwell does an astonishing performance as the thief Grace. The old Villain to Ethan but a new villain to us Gabriel is here to harm Ethan the way he knows best... The people Ethan cares about most.
Wahl Street (2021)
Hard Work Never Goes Unseen
This HBO Max Original is a show/documentary on the life of actor Mark Wahlberg. You get to see the inside scoop of his daily life while filming and outside of filming. It shows his many businesses he is a part of and shows his dedication to his work. Mark's work ethic is unbelievable to the sense he owns Performance Inspired Nutrition, Municipal, Municipal Pictures, Aquahydrate, Mark Wahlberg Auto, F45 ect... You get to see Mark navigate his work life on set, business life, being away from family, and most of all friendships he has made along the way. It is a heartfelt show with great comedy. I binge watched season 1 in one sitting and just finished season 2 recently. Recommend for everyone and if you love Mark and our into starting a business. Hard work is how you become successful. This is displayed through Mark Wahlberg's life.
Daddy's Home 2 (2017)
Better Than The First
Daddy's Home 2 is a great Christmas film that is full of laughter. Will Ferrel and Mark Wahlberg's chemistry goes way back from The Other Guys in 2010. They are great together. It was a great element adding Mel Gibson and John Lithgow. It covers a lot of Christmas stereotypes that haven't been covered on film and delivers several quotable lines. I do recommend watching the first film so you can better understand who is the parent of which kid because it could get confusing if you have not seen in the fist film. If you liked Ferrel and Mark Wahlberg in the Other Guys you will sure enjoy this film. If you have not seen the Other Guys, Ferrel plays a similar character to Buddy the Elf. This can be displayed in his relation with his dad just like Buddy shared with Walter Hobbs. If you enjoy any Mark Wahlberg film you will have a good time watching this film.
Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
Tom Cruise at his best!
Tom Cruise reprising his role as Lt. Pete Maverick Mitchell was amazing. Maverick is still the same and Cruise delivers his best in this film. It's a perfect balance of nostalgia from the first movie and its own movie. Top Gun: Maverick is a masterpiece. I was too afraid to say this at first but it's BETTER than the original.
