The Walking Dead: No Other Way (2022)
One of Season 11's best so far
Alongside the masterpiece that was episode 6, this episode is the best that season 11 has to offer thus far. Great episode all around. To all the people who rate 4 or lower, just leave. If you're going to crap all over genuinely good TV, do it with some other series. Leave this one to the real fans.
The Walking Dead: Splinter (2021)
Giving 9 stars because of hate
Personally, I think this episode sits at around a 7.5/10 for me. I gave it a 9 because some people don't understand the purpose of the episode, and are giving it 1 star just to seem edgy. 'Splinter' was not meant to advance the Commonwealth story, it was supposed to provide us with information on Princess's character, which it did pretty well. The hate that this show has been getting recently is completely unjustified and ridiculous.
The Walking Dead: Save the Last One (2011)
A Fantastic Episode.
Action-packed, intense, dramatic and mysterious, Save the Last One manages to pull off all of these things spectacularly. With Carl's condition worsening, Shane and Otis have to get needed medical supplies to save him. However, Shane makes a sacrifice that changes him forever. At the same time, Glenn brings an injured T-Dog to the Greene farmhouse and Daryl continues the search for Sophia. Overall excellent third episode for season 2.
The Walking Dead: Bloodletting (2011)
Great Episode, Not Quite as Strong as Premiere.
Most of Bloodletting is a brutal, intense episode. Carl is in a serious condition and nearly dies several times. We are introduced to the Greene family, most notably Hershel and Maggie (portrayed by Scott Wilson and Lauren Cohan, respectively). Other than that, the episode is more character focused, and has a somber tone.
The Walking Dead: What Lies Ahead (2011)
A Strong Premiere
Each character gets a time to shine in this thrilling opening to the Walking Dead Season 2. Andrea fights walkers in the RV; Daryl saves T-Dog; Rick leads a rescue operation for Sophia. Each character steps up in ways we haven't seen before. The episode ends with the most shocking cliffhanger thus far.
The Walking Dead: TS-19 (2010)
An Engaging Season Finale
TS-19 puts our group in a very different situation, yet still stressful at the same time. Dr. Edwin Jenner admits Rick and company into a new safe haven, the CDC. Unfortunately, it turns out not to be exactly what it was worked up to be, and the entire place blows up in the shocking final scene.
Overall, this is a great episode, but I think it lacked some of the usual charm that the Walking Dead employs. Other than that, it was very good, with great dialogue, acting and cinematography. TS-19 caps off the very great Season 1 of the Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead: Wildfire (2010)
Slow, but interesting.
Wildfire is probably the weakest episode of the season, but it is still a great episode. The episode builds several characters, most notably Rick, Shane, Dale, Andrea, Carol and Daryl. The final scene is intense and fills the viewer with dread. Andrew Lincoln gives another great performance as he begs to the CDC camera. There is a bleak second where nothing happens, then boom! The doors open. Great cliffhanger.
The Walking Dead: Vatos (2010)
Another great episode, even more brutal.
Vatos is an all-around great episode. Things get much more brutal on all fronts. Rick, Daryl, T-Dog and Glenn encounter a group of survivors who kidnap Glenn and attempt to steal Rick's guns. After a stressful negotiation, Glenn is returned unharmed and Rick and co. head back to camp.
Meanwhile, walkers attack the camp in a huge swarm, killing Carol's husband Ed and more notably Amy, Andrea's sister. Laurie Holden delivers a remarkable performance as Andrea. While also containing the most action in the series so far, Vatos is also the saddest episode so far.
The Walking Dead: Tell It to the Frogs (2010)
An emotional reunion, and a daring rescue.
While this episode is not as captivating as the first two, it manages to deliver some great scenes and characters. Both Daryl and Carol make their first appearances here. Daryl gets an especially fitting introduction.
Rick gets a happy, emotional reunion with Lori and Carl, in what is the best scene of the episode. Merle's rescue operation provides a brief bit of intensity to the episode, which is otherwise focused on catch-up for Lori and Shane.
The Walking Dead: Guts (2010)
An Intense, Gory, Thrilling ride.
Once again, The Walking Dead delivers with another great episode. Unlike the pilot, however, this one focuses on more characters and contains much more action and goriness. We are introduced to great characters like Glenn, Andrea, T-Dog, Merle and more, while also getting to know Rick even better.
The Walking Dead: Days Gone Bye (2010)
A great start to a great show.
Days Gone Bye is an excellent pilot, with stunning special effects and a strong lead. Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes is excellent, as well as Lennie James' Morgan Jones. This is the perfect way to start off and create a hit TV show.
