The Batman (2022)
Good first half, themes and plot ruined by terrible dialogue and final sequences.
Woof. Really, really disappointed by this movie. It doesn't even begin to touch the excellence of the Nolan films like people are saying. The first half - especially the neo noir/crime themes were great. But it devolved into a movie with terrible dialogue, character development, and even acting. It was honestly laughable for the last hour. Please for your sake, don't go into this movie with high expectations.
Peacemaker: It's Cow or Never (2022)
Everyone saying that the show is "woke" missed the entire point.
Peacemaker still kills the cow because - in the show's own words - humans have to collectively make the decision to address issues like the environment instead of letting a select few (in this case aliens) force us into it or take us over.
In fact, they're likely supporting something close to what you believe, not those that you'd deem the "woke" crowd. And if the point of a show based on a comic book went WAY over your head, I wonder what else has?
Behind the Attraction: Space Mountain (2021)
Nearly unwatchable, thanks to the editing and narrating.
They can't finish a single sentence without splicing it into three, four other interviews. Whole thing is so jarring and hard to watch. It's unfortunate given how great the content/series could be.
The Guilty (2021)
So, so so bad
It's one thing to have one of the worst written movies of all time ("I guess the broken save the broken"... seriously?) but you subject me to that for 90 minutes and then top it off with jake gyllenhall throwing up in a public toilet before having a Come to Jesus moment about his random cop killing?
After Truth: Disinformation and the Cost of Fake News (2020)
For anyone here complaining about bias, feel free to find enough material as egregious as this film had and produce it.
Unless you think this Documentary is *also* a part of a grand conspiracy in controlling our minds. In which case, thank you for proving the film's message.
Forensic Files: Insignificant Others (2007)
Slow episode with pretty dumb cliffhanger.
It's an alright episode, but it isn't super compelling. Also the "big twist" at the end is hardly a twist at all. She's speaking to another... woman - oh wow!
