Stranger Things: Chapter Seven: The Massacre at Hawkins Lab (2022)
The beginning of the end
This episode is the one that will define the turning point of the series. Stranger things is definitely not a perfect show but it's episodes like this which can divert the shows entire narrative.
The series was decent before this episode but the incredible plot twist may be one of the greatest ever in television. The hope is now that the series concludes well whilst also setting up for an explosive season 5 showdown.
Better Call Saul: Rock and Hard Place (2022)
You're an insane degenerate piece of filth and you deserve to die
Wow what an episode, best of the entire series so far and it came as a suprise!
Mike was very good In this episode and you could see that he really respected Nacho and wanted him to live, and I think Gus did as well, but like everything in this universe, there is always consequences.
For such a high quality for a 3rd episode you just know it's going to get better from here on out.
Peaky Blinders: Lock and Key (2022)
They will not rest yet
We expected a dark ending to a light season but they gave us a light ending to a dark season. It's a beautiful ending but a movie to tie up the loose ends would be the cherry on top of a cake. If there were a movie I'd hope it would show the downfall of Mosley and Jack whilst also giving closure for our main characters such as Arthur and Tommy.
Peaky Blinders: Gold (2022)
End game story needs to start soon
The episode was well acted but there are too many moving parts at once, with only 3 episodes to go they need to slow it down and focus on a single enticing storyline and maybe bring back some of its grit.
The hope is that it takes a similar rout to the breaking bad finale and there is some sort of dark, satisfying, intelligent, redemption story.
