The Twilight Zone: What's in the Box (1964)
Honestly A Waste Of Time
I've been watching the show for a solid 20 years now, and there are a lot of good episodes, and a lot of bad episodes, and this is no exception. Honestly, I think season 5 is the weakest season out of all them, due to having lackluster episodes, such as Black Leather Jackets. While there are a few memorable episodes from this season, such as Living Doll, In Phrase A Pip, and Nightmare At 20,000 Feet, this episode isn't one of them.
This episode is all about a bickering couple who argued at each other for a solid half hour, to the point of getting physical. Joe is a cheater who's addicted to TV, and his wife, Phyllis, is honestly the worst character in the series. I honestly blame her for making her husband lost his sanity, it is evidence that she left the TV on shortly before Joe's attempt at reconciliation, letting the situation continue to fester. Had she left the TV off during that, or had Joe do what the doctor says, then they would never get physical.
I read from another person review, that this is a retread of a previous episode, E. G The Most Unusual Camera (with a device that sees the future). This is also another episode that have a person witnessed something that he/she can see and hear, while someone else thinks that they're having delusions. The only example I can give is the season 4 episode Miniature, which is a underrated episode in my opinion.
It seems to me that the TV Repair Man is probably teaching the couple a lesson, by getting rid of them for being annoying. Which is never explained at all.
I honestly used to enjoy this episode, I used to give it a guilty pleasure. But as I got older, I changed my mind. It's hard to sit through, the characters are forgettable, and the ending sucks. I know my Dad and my brother likes it, but my mother doesn't like it, and I happily agree.
Overall, it's just a lame episode, and waste of my time.
The Bad Guys (2022)
More Like Ploy Twists: The Movie. Most Overrated DreamWorks Movie Ever
I'm a fan of DreamWorks Animation, my favorite is still most of the Shrek movies, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, and How To Train Your Dragon. But much like Pixar, I wasn't anticipating in any film since How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, except for Puss In Boots: The Last Wish.
When I heard about this movie, I had zero interest since day one, and the trailers didn't interest me at all.
Much like My Little Pony: A New Generation, a lot of people have asked me to make a video on this movie.
The only praise I can give, is that Diane is a good character, her backstory touched me, Mr Wolf's redemption in the middle of their heist is a nice scene, and honestly the only merit I can give about Mr Wolf. The climax (for the most part) is really good. But other than that, it's a mediocre movie that I'm not impressed with.
I never understood the hype surrounding this movie, and I extremely doubted that it's DreamWorks' comeback.
The animation is lame, yet another example of Hollywood copying the success of other films, in this case it's The Peanuts Movie, and Spider Man Into The Spider-Verse (which I think the animation works well on those movies). The characters (aside from Diane) are mediocre, Mr Wolf (aside from the aforementioned redemption scene) didn't interest me, Mr Shark got on my nerves, Mr Piranha disgusted me, such as his farts, and calling a meteor a butt like if he's Beavis and Butthead, Miss Tarantula is forgettable, and Mr Snake is the worst offender. The villain didn't impress me.
A lot of people have said that this film has originality (including Vailskibum), but I looked at this film, it did nothing unheard of, the twisted villain, fart jokes, and others in this film is something that was already done before. It has too many plot twists. And it didn't feel like a DreamWorks movie, it feels more like a Illumination movie.
Honestly, YouTuber Vailskibum won't shut up about this movie.
Overall, this movie did nothing to impress me.
My Little Pony: A New Generation (2021)
It's The Force Awakens Of MLP
This is just another attempt to make MLP a cash grab for Hasbro.
This could've been any movie, not a MLP movie. Unlike the 2017 movie, this has nothing new to offer to the table, only to rehash elements from most of the episodes. It's nothing but a political platform about racism, under the MLP name. It didn't feel like a MLP movie, it look like a DreamWorks movie. This made G4 completely pointless, like a lot of franchises these days.
Overall, this is just a mess of a film.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Not Normal/Gone (2008)
Not Normal Is The Lamest Episode Ever
Not Normal is easily the most boring episode of any of the Post Movie Episode.
I used to like when I was a kid. But, as I got older, it gotten very annoying. In fact, my friends always irritate me with this episode.
My Little Pony: The Movie (2017)
Better Than New Generation
By the title of this review, I'm going have to say that this is the only redeeming quality about MLP since season 5.
I'm going to start off by saying that this will never change my opinion about G5, because I still think New Generation is garbage. It's one of the worst MLP movie I have ever seen. It disregard the purpose of the series. However, I actually like this movie. It is my favorite Non-Disney movie of the 2010s, and it's on par with my top favorite 5 Non-Disney film of all time, along with The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
This was my most anticipated movies of 2017, unfortunately, I never got a chance to see it in the theaters. But, I saw it mainly on home video.
The animation is great! It's completely different than how the series is made. It look like something from Disney's Post Renaissance Era (mainly Treasure Planet and Atlantis: The Lost Empire). The songs are catchy, I would listen to them on repeat, way better than New Generation. Emily Blunt did a fine job as Tempest Shadow. Here's one improving thing, Starlight Glimmer isn't in the film that much. She has a cameo. But, what I don't understand, is that when I look at reception wikis on the film, one of their negative on the film is about Starlight Glimmer not being in the film that much.
The only negative is that the Storm King is kinda on and off for me.
This is perhaps the best My Little Pony movie out of all of them.
Star Trek: Generations (1994)
This Is A Very Underrated Star Trek Movie
In my personal opinion, this is my second favorite Star Trek movie with the Next Generation cast. While First Contact I like more.
When I was a kid, I've only seen parts of it, until 2007. I like the movie as a kid, and still enjoyed it to this day.
Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987)
A Complete Mess Of A Excuse For A Superman Movie
Where do I even start? This is a complete mess. This is the "Batman & Robin" of Superman. To be fair, I used to like it when I was a kid. It used to been my favorite of the franchise, along with Superman 2. Even when I got older, I still like it. But, when I watched reviews of it, I didn't understand it. Until I did research on the film. Overtime, I lost interest in the film. Now, I think this movie isn't good. The special effects are cheap, the plot doesn't make sense, and the fight on the moon is pointless. Overall, I think that the first movie is the best in the franchise. As for this, it is easily the "Batman & Robin" of the franchise, due to similar backlash.
The Wonderful World of Disney: The Love Bug (1997)
A Film That Deserves More Attention
When I was kid, I love the Herbie movies, even to this day. I even saw Herbie: Fully Loaded in the theaters. But, there is one movie that not many people have talked about. Which is the 1997 movie. I remember watching it on VHS, but one day, the tape got chewed. However, for whatever reason, my father fixed it. I saw it again to 2 more times, 1 viewing per-day. On the third day, the tape got chewed again. Damaged beyond repair. And I never saw it again for 13-14 years, due to not being on DVD. One day in December, my brother and I started watching the short lived TV on YouTube, and I decided to put on the movie (due to a few people uploading it on YouTube). I enjoyed after all else years, and even my brother thank me for putting it on. In my opinion, this movie is a enjoyable installment in the franchise, and it deserves to be release on DVD, Blu-ray, or Disney+.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014)
A Guilty Pleasure
It is a okay film, but not the best. To be fair, when I heard that they're doing a sequel, I was so excited. I wanted to see it in the theaters, but never got a chance. I remember liking for the first time, but as the years past, it became a bit of a guilty pleasure, and I knew something's off about the movie. There are some scenes that I like, but there are some scenes I don't like. Overall, it's not my favorite of the 3 films.
