The Passion of Berenice (1976)

Live life with great passion regardless of what other might think

One day we will all die. The main story in this film shows an example of how young people usually care for their elders, spending all their time to help others instead of helping themselves. It is a story of two persons from different age groups that interact in a somewhat tense environment. Each of the two main characters live in the context of a mutual need, however the younger still looking for a greater selfish need to live life with greater passion regardless of other persons opinions or what other people can think of it. To live your own life to the fullest you should spend time caring about yourself rather than taking care of others. That would be the conclusion understood after watching this gem. But beware, because if you surpass the limits you might end up in hell.

Mexican history in times of social and political revoution

A documentary that shows how the Mexican Revolution transformed the country and its people in the early twentieth century. The film depicts a video narrative of events without words, showing a series of shots from around the historical period of 1900-1920, depicting the roles of each the important political and social figures in Mexico in that time. It is seen how life in Mexico had a sharp contrast in between the period before and after, first showing Dictator Porfirio Díaz and how the way he militarized the country made people unhappy which also brought social revolts and other problems that began to arise.

Idilio (1977)

The human need for giving and receiving

A short film that takes place in a train station in a rural area, describing several different themes joining various states of mind of the human being that contrast with one another. Waiting for the train to arrive creates a series of mixed feelings in the character's thoughts, on the one hand the sadness of having lost a child, and the need to receive neighborly love to satisfy the void left by the loss. I loved the symbolism it projects in the dialogues and images seen in the different scenes that are shown. The human need for giving and receiving milk, the rain descibingin an artistic way the profound inner sadness and the feeling of being wet. I was able to see it as part of a compilation of short films entitled Tres Tristes Trenes, for the World Audiovisual Heritage Day Show on open television channel Canal Catorce.

Too many errors on opening night by the Chiefs

The opening night game was tight, until the Chiefs made some unexpected mistakes and the Lions took advantage of them to earn a victory as the visiting team. It was expected to be a close game, after last season's ending stunning performance by the Detroit Lions, and the championship finish from the Kansas City Chiefs. This time the Chiefs couldn't stop the lions' offense, and because they lack of consistency by the chiefs, the lions prevailed and earned a good victory as the visiting team. We'll see how it goes next time, Pat Mahomes needs to be more consistent and his team must avoid non forced errors to be able to beat the opponent team.

Feeling the hour of his death is near, the Franciscan Jesuit, Father Eusebio Kino recapitulates the events that encouraged him to travel from Italy to New Spain, where he joined the expedition of Admiral Isidro de Atondo as a cartographer and missionary.

This chronicle about the life of Padre Kino during the time he was in New Spain depicts how Father Eusebio established missions over part of western Mexico, helping indigenous people to learn about agriculture, farming and raising livestock.

In his passage through California and Sonora, Kino witnesses the mistreatment of the Spaniards towards the indigenous people, a situation that sometimes turns against his evangelizing mission.

In the second part of the film, entitled "Don't fool with love". This tells the unusual way of coinciding between a radio announcer and one of her radio listeners, from which they find that many of their hobbies and tastes are the same. It is a love story like so many others, in which no one expects to find what they are looking for in the other, but coincidences do exist and sometimes there are many.

This film shows in an artistic and subtle way how self consciousness can become very subjective in one's own perspective. A musician's environment can become a metaphor to others to learn about how difficult it is to trascend in life. As music is the main theme in this film, in a general understanding, tuning or being in tone is fundamental to success in any discipline related to this field. The main character of this film loves music and feels it in her own soul, but however lacks the objective sense of the public in the audience about the way she sings. When she finds out the truth she just falls apart in her desire to gain her objective and that marks her life for good.

This game was the first combined no hitter in World Series history. It was performed by Houston's starting pitcher Cristian Javier and three other bull pen relievers on the fourth game of the 2022 World Series. The World Series is now even, two games a piece heading to the fifth game in Philadelphia tomorrow night. Allowing no hits is no easy achievement, especially having a strong lineup as Philadelphia's is. Next game tomorrow night is key to the series, perhaps the momentum will be towards Houston Astros from now on. We will see which team will be more consistent in delivering hits and runs.

Worst game ever in national prime time TV

This has been perhaps the worst game ever in prime time national television broadcast. Really bad bad game for Thursday night football. Expert players making foolish mistakes, as if they were novice first year player. No full touchdowns, missed field goals, injuries concussions, weak offensive lines, eight plus + quarter back sacks, wow, can't stop naming all the forced errors that happened in this football match. One would think that teams with two of the best ranked QB's players in the sport would not have such mediocre performance, but it can happen, and this was the case. Do not trust these two teams during this season in fantasy football.

Although she has always lived under the shadow of her mother who many times made her life miserable, the recent death of her mother has made her feel a great sadness. Because of her loneliness, she decides to invite her friend Clara to live with her. As she is a middle aged single woman, one day, she decides to take a holiday and goes to Acapulco where she meets Victor, whom with she starts a new love story that will have a tragic end. This is a good psychological thriller and its story will make you want to watch it until the very ending.

Cameras and witnesses can give crucial testimony about the truth behind a shooting event. Very recently, state police in Mexico has been tied to numerous corruption cases specifically related to the drug war happening around 2010. This documentary film shows a case of this type of corruption happening during a military police raid in Monterrey, Mexico, in which they deliberately murder two private university graduate students. Video footage from university cameras show footage of what really happened during the minutes both students were murdered by the military helping to uncover the truth behind the events.

This episode is really funny, both boys or girls should watch it. It is about a contest between girls to select who has the best idea to improve a gadget. Hudson and Triple G dress up like girls, to help Kenzie win the contest, but they arrive to late. It is very funny how they get lots of smiles and smirks from other boys when they are travelling in the subway, not knowing they are really boys, especially the contrast in the way each of them answer to those smirks. It is also very funny how Kenzie likes the invention of another team better than her own and even approves it by tasting it.

Astonishing game

The Bills' 42-36 loss to the Chiefs was an astonishing show, one of the best games in NFL history. Although there can be a bias in opinion toward the present, it certainly was much more gripping and entertaining a football game than any other in more than half a century. In the last two minutes of regulation and overtime, there were four lead changes, 296 yards of total offense and 31 points were scored. It was also one of the most shattering losses in league history.

This was a classic defensive game. On one side nine sacks and on the other three interceptions. In the first half this was a defensive battle that left the Bengals ahead. In the second half, the game opened up, and the Titans tied it up. The ending was pure drama, with only a few seconds left, the Bengals figured out how to win the match. Their first post season game won as a visiting team.
