The Flatshare (2022)
They blow it, Hollywood is dead
The same typical thing that is happening across all content production whether it's film or series or documentaries I'm not sure what's happening, but it's either there are no more competent producers and directors or they suddenly run out of budget in the middle of the production, but this is a Sure that had so much potential, but of course blown into pieces by extremely bad, acting extremely bad, casting and terrible terrible attempt at developing characters into something meaningful but instead the main actress angers most of us viewers with her extremely dumb actions during the show and it's so far from reality like people don't do these things that you see in this show and many other shows. I think we need a new age of Contant probably coming for more independent sources with something really original.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024)
What a waste of money and resources
How can companies like Warner brothers and legendary pictures? Create such a dumb movie I mean the only reason I watched it till the end is just to see what Godzilla will do. Otherwise this is a movie that is extremely terrible and has no actual story to it and the worst part of it all is the cast, the script, especially when that main actress talks it's so cliché it's beyond cringe
The cast is just terrible and completely don't belong in the movie and what's with all the writers or actually I think there were no writers for this film because even people from high school can literally create the same script that I was hearing in the movie how major Studios doing such brainless movies like this it will hurt the franchise of Godzilla Thank God for the other movie that was released months ago, which is the original story of Godzilla.
Extraordinary (2023)
Unbearable characters and screenplay
The moment this show started, I thought it has the potential the size of the world, but as the story, evolves and unfolds, it is obvious that the writers run out of good ideas and started pushing social agendas that seems forcibly put into the show after the second episode, it lost all the momentum of what could have been a great Modern British comedy and instead they started taking each character into a very strange direction that didn't seem relevant to the original concept which is having superpowers in modern times.
I hope the producers can learn a lesson after reading low rated reviews like mine because it speaks the truth.
Dune: Part Two (2024)
A cinematic masterpiece
It's really hard to say that Hollywood had finally produced the film that is so high in standards. It's almost impossible to out produce dune part two in any foreseeable future there has never been a dull moment in the movie and it's so intriguing that three hours passed by and I didn't even notice From casting to production value to cinematography to dialogue and screenplay it's truly a cinematic masterpiece. This is a movie that is absolutely worth your time and money and I hope that due part three will be as good as this one.
Every single member of the cast seem to enjoy themselves because there was no acting. It was so realistic, and incredibly true to the original book.
Greyhound (2020)
An Atlantic Masterpiece
I've seen the poster so many times, but I never thought of watching it because I said it's just another war movie, but I was wrong because this is on the sea and not on land and it's a beautiful film that showcases how important the presence of a good captain is a board a military ship or a destroyer. Tom Hanks never ceases to deliver. His performance, as always is literally the beacon of of the movie. The coordination between characters is flawless, and everything seems so natural and not overdone about this movie. If you like war related films, then watch this because you won't regret it. Never judge a movie by its poster, lesson learned.
White Men Can't Jump (2023)
Great fun
I literally don't understand why the negative reviews of on this movie! It's such a great remake, and it was absolutely fun to watch, and the fact that Jack Harlow knows how to act is brilliant, I love how the story unfolds on the believable events took place in this really feel good movie that includes real life, struggles, relationship issues, and hustles.
The soundtrack is great the shots are amazing. They kept it real with the dialogue and don't forget that it was the last piece of footage that included lance Reddick, so that alone deserves a 10 out of 10 from the same people that created this movie one or two or three or even five.
A Friend of the Family (2022)
Hell creepy and realistic
I'm not sure if it's such a good idea to make shows like this because of the fact that it could spread ideas into sick peoples heads, but nonetheless, it's a great show with great level of acting that felt very real, and the events are perfectly unfolding in such a medium pace scenario The struggles of both families are real and the characters are extremely believable. I loved watching the show because it opens up your eyes to a lot of things that surrounds you whether it's in the neighborhood or the city or the country I just personally don't like any harm done to under aged kids and it's really painful to watch things like this that happened in real life.
A lot of unexpected and shocking events happen that were never expected.
Plane (2023)
Reminder of a good action movie
I hope that the producer will see this at some point but I'm not sure the movie is amazing and I love it because it reminded me of the good old action flicks like Rambo and commando but we know it's a cliché thing to say, but why didn't you add more drama towards the end? It would've been nice to see What will happen like the news press and the victims meeting their families and all these other hopeful things that people like to see on screen I don't understand why you have to end it in relatively abrupt way nevertheless, this movie deserves way more credit than it received, and like always, Gérard Butler never disappoints when it comes to action.
The Last of Us (2023)
It's overwhelming
As a huge fan of the game, I can't help but be emotional about this because this is literally the video adaptation of the game we all love and dreamt of having a video version of it.
My only comment is they should have castes a girl that actually looks more like "Ellie" but it's a major issue.
The way the events unfold and the visuals left me speechless and we couldn't have asked for more.
The person who is in charge of photography, as well as the director, should be honored with the highest awards, because they knew exactly what it means to respect the fandom of the franchise and deliver for us some thing that we can actually relate to while watching this show and what shocked me, the most is the attention to details even in the tiniest Spots and so many mutual marks that we got to see in the game what a present in this show which only confirms the dedication from the entire team behind this series to deliver some thing that will be good enough for the game franchise fans.
Well done to all of them, and I hope other studios can learn from the team behind the last of us series. That's when you want to adopt some thing from a video game. It must be done by the book and well executed, and the last of us just set the bar so high for others.
Uncharted (2022)
A complete disappointment
As a hard-core, uncharted franchise fan, this was a huge disappointment, because execution is not done up to the standards no respects the heavy weight of such franchise to the dedicated fans of the uncharted world. The casting is terrible. The dialogue is mediocre, and the adventure itself which we enjoyed the most while playing the game was missing completely. I am not sure how could the Hollywood screw up such an amazing franchise that could've done wonders to its worldwide fans.
I came to this conclusion, while watching the Indiana Jones franchise, and realizing how more relevant it is to uncharted in the actual movie made.
I am truly disappointed because nobody in this crew had any respect to the uncharted fans.
Tulsa King (2022)
Stallone is the gangster we all needed
I mean, I never expected to fall in love with such a natural flowing gangster character that Sylvester Stallone is playing in this show. He's so entertaining natural, and just purely entertaining.
I love how it starts and how the events unfold in a simple yet effective manner, the cost of the show I think is perfectly aligned with the whole vibe, and the fact that the mafia went to the middle of nowhere is exciting.
I am confident in already asking for season two and I hope the story evolves even more and just an advice for the producers to please don't make unnecessary seasons. If you have to close it then let's close it in a good way where the brand resides in peoples minds and hearts as one of the best shows of 2022.
Station Eleven (2021)
Wonderfully eerie
I personally have the patience usually to watch a show to episodes five or whatever just so I can be fair in my judgment, but this show delivers and all fronts I love the casting the music, the cinematography that amounts to deal and HBO did an amazing job creating this eerie masterpiece That encompasses an artistic approach while suffering Apocalypse in the background, I thought the events unfolded perfectly, while some might not like the time jumps back-and-forth.
I actually think it's a great lesson and survival if these events actually happen, and we almost left similar events. I love this show and I enjoyed watching it.
Out of Office (2022)
Waste of production money
Why would any company waste even the smallest budget on a movie like this? I mean you wasted people's time instead of entertaining them!
I really don't understand, are they high while commissioning this? From storyline it self to the script or the horrible acting and cast.
I know i sound like I'm smoking this movie but this is the truth, America has to understand that there's a whole world outside of USA where they can get inspired from or even consider when making a movie.
I can't forgive the fact that you made me sit through this thinking that someone might actually pull off an entertaining movie about "working from home" since its such relevant topic these days.
I feel sorry for the money wasted on this.
Mayor of Kingstown (2021)
Truly Amazing
I never knew Jeremy Renner can be so grit, badass, and emotional all at the same time. What is so great about this show is that its so real.
Casting is spot on, drama is real, dialogue is precise and no unnecessary blah blah, the connection between Jeremy Renner and everyone in town makes you want to be him for a day, yet its one hell of a hectic life he has.
What happens from episode 1 already had me captivated and wanting to see more of Renner in this role.
Watch this short series because you will ride along Renner on an epic prison gruesome journey.
Absolutely loved it and wish they make more like this of continue making it with new angles to the original story.
Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
A masterpiece sequel
This is exactly how every sequel should be made exciting, thrilling, dramatic, and extremely entertaining.
But what shocked me the most is the level of intelligence from the crew, the cast, and the Director to create such a sequel to be fit and watchable for the newer generations.
Not every story has to be sophisticated and complicated in order for to appeal to brainy viewers, in fact it teaches resilience, confidence, and team work.
Tom cruise and the new young cast did an amazing job by showing how generations should connect with each other to create a better future for the ones to come.
Love it and it had been added to my all time favorites.
Yellowstone (2018)
The realest show
This show isn't just about cowboys and ranches, in fact it covers so many areas in life it's impossible how they produced it so well.
The drama feels real, the conflicts and especially the amount of times it shows the real face of humanity and the filth we call money and politics.
Truly no one is innocent and there's no such thing as fair.
I love how this show and its characters teach us so much about life and human emotions.
The Gray Man (2022)
Wanna critics stay away!
This movie by all means is an absolute entertainment fest, casting is perfect and the action is insane, plus the fact that it gets you so hyped up while watching it shows the amazing production skills behind it
We don't need sophisticated wanna be critics criticizing every angle of the movie because sometimes people just want to be entertained and not everything has to be about complex storylines
Ryan Gosling and Captain America proved to be total bada$$
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Ac couple of laugh only but a waste of money
This movie tells you how Hollywood is running out of ideas and how old they are wasting millions of production money on useless films that are unnecessary and doesn't add up anything to the marvel world.
Counterpart (2017)
The show every show should learn from
I don't easily get impressed by shows anymore because most of it is just a complete waste of time and money.
But this isn't the case with counterpart it's genuinely intriguing clever and keeps you glued to your seat every time you watch an episode.
How could they cancel a show that is perfectly made while other shows that are absolutely useless and stupid are still running.
The show gives you a glimpse of what's happening in the real world before our eyes a bunch of gray haired *^%# running the world.
My Greek Odyssey (2018)
Thank you Peter
As a history lover I was blown away at the level of information I received from this well made yet entertaining documentary series.
I wish I've know Peter in real life because I truly enjoyed every moment of this documentary because of his relentless energy and interest in his own culture.
We can't afford the boat nor the trip but this gave us the window to live all of the beautiful moments that Peter experienced throughout this journey.
I wish all documentary series are this exciting and sometimes funny like "My Greek Odyssey"
Well done guys and thank you for taking us onto an unforgettable journey through beautiful Greece.
Moon Knight (2022)
Don't read the bad reviews - they're haters
This is a show anyone will be loved by history and comic lovers, it's incredibly engaging and entertaining at the same time, first episode left me in awe! What a plot and the mind puzzling scenarios.
I was overwhelmed trying to keep up with what's happening and I mean that in a good way.
The Cinematography and soundtrack are brilliant and perfectly tailored for such a strong/dark comic adventure.
A true feast for the eye..can't wait for the rest of the season.
Moonfall (2022)
Have we become this stupid?
I mean the idea had potential but the execution is horrible, the acting is poor, the script is purchased in Walmart.
Why would you waste such a big budget on a terrible film? There's sci fi and then there is trash.
Some of the lines are below cliché and mission is believable by a 5 year old.
The only star from my rating goes to the cgi and vfx.
I'm hugely disappointed because I'm a big fan of sci fi and apocalyptic films.
Halo (2022)
Forget what critics say! It's an action gem.
One of the best shows this year period, the fact the I wasn't expecting much but was actually blown away at the epic turn of events made me unable to blink.
The cast is great, the costumes are magnificent and the overall production value is really good.
I'm not sure why some people have to force their so called professional opinions, and deep technical analysis of the show onto others!
Just watch it a new series and you'll see what I mean.
The action is top notch, the dialogue is concise and spot on, what else do you want from a sci fi show?
First episode finished and left me begging for more, if that's doesn't tell you how good the show is then I don't know what will.
Honestly so called professional critics need to find a better hobby and leave people to actually enjoy quality tv time.
Well done to the teams behind "Halo" as a gamer I salute you for making me live the game I love.
Make more..
Ted Lasso (2020)
Another master piece in the universe of series
This show embodies everything you need in a series and binge watching such quality show is worth the ass-ache.
Every single character is unique but Coach lasso is a fresh addition to universe of characters and played perfectly well by sudhuski am sure the spelling is wrong but who cares.
One of the best shows I've ever seen and I wait every Friday to the new episode to drop just so I can enjoy some humor and drama.
Well done to the creators of this show.
Trying (2020)
Beautifully addictive
From the very episode you simply get hooked, the show is just pure, simple, true, funny, beautiful and genuinely entertaining.
You will evidently fall in love with Nikki and Jason and wish your life was remotely similar to theirs.
After finishing the 2nd season I just count the days for the 3rd season and in fact if they make 10 of them I won't mind, the show must go on and the characters (all of them) are brilliant.
Well done to the writer and creators of this show.
