Daddy Issues (2018)
Oddly entertaining film
The subject of the movie has more depth than I originally assumed. The main characters are fun, not much acting chops, but likeable. The third act is predictable since the creators didn't want to treat the subject too seriously and much rather end it on an uplifting note.
On the Basis of Sex (2018)
A movie that should have been made years ago
The movie tells how RBG became RBG!
RBG is the second woman to be appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court after Sandra Day O'Connor who was appointed more than a decade before Ginsburg. But RBG is the trailblazer who wanted to challenge the status quo and helped make sweeping changes to the civil rights of America to include women's rights.
Every insecure man should see this movie.
Doses of Horror (2018)
Rehash of older movies
This movie answers the eternal question;
How do I make a movie without making a movie?
Answer: You make a movie by combining clips from older movies.
The movie clips are mostly from 1970's and 80's horror movies and the clips include more sex than actual horror.
You can watch those old movies instead of this trash.
Bad Cops (2000)
Mostly aerial helicopter footage
In stark contrast to the law-enforcement heroes highlighted on "C.O.P.S.," the law-breaking police officers featured in this shocking collection of clips don't think twice about unnecessary roughness. Capturing beatings, assaults, wrongful shootings and more, Bad Cops catches the bad apples who overstep their authority and dispense vigilante justice instead of following their "protect and serve" creed.
Other reviews seems to dwell on the fact that the rough handling shown by cops is not as rough as purported to be. But they seem to forget that the cops are supposed to just make an arrest not beat someone into a pulp before making an arrest. These reviewers themselves need to get a feel of getting a beat-down from the cops to understand what they are really saying.
Inkaar (1977)
Remake not even close to original
A remake of the Kurosawa film - High and Low (1963). Technically the movie is above par in terms of contemporary Bollywood junk during that period but nevertheless if you want drama and the brilliance of Kurosawa, see the original.
The only redeeming feature of the film was of course Helen and the song Mungla Mungla.
Pitchfork (2016)
Suicide or this movie
The worst movie I have ever seen in my life!
Atrocious clichéd story line, mind numbing dumb characters and kindergarten level actors. Need I say more.
Oddly enough, all the people who seem to have critiqued and voted 10 stars for this movie seems to have had their accounts set up in the last couple of months. Are you kidding me?
Obviously the IMDb critics who voted 10 stars are involved in the production of the movie given their IMDb account status.
