Vienna Blood (2019– )

Lame and pretentious

Fancy clothing and sets but the shows are lame and pretentious. The actors comments about themselves and other actors are all full of self aggrandizement. Typical of PBS, which spends much to much time and energy telling us how great they are. Just do it, and this show does not. There is too little action and too little interesting dialog. Also there is something strange and weak about all the women characters, which is I think contrary to current tastes, which usually features strong, active, smart women. So Vienna Blood to me again shows that PBS and their suppliers have completely lost their way.

Why is the video so dark? Scene after scene is very dark. Never a properly lit scene.

Ruth Rendell Mysteries (1987–2000)

Terribly slow, no action.

Terribly slow. No action. Boring. Very few supporting actors. Waste of time.

Green Zone (2010)

Too dark

Very difficult to see !! Very dark. Mostly brown. Annoying. Mostly moving action, no change of pace. Not for me.

Bosch (2014–2021)

Entertaining.

Pretty good. The plot makes sense. The scenes fit together. I like the pace. It moves along. I can clearly understand the dialog. Most of the acting is crisp. Some scenes are too dark, but not too bad. All in all pretty good. Thanks Amazon for producing something entertaining.

Dark Soap Opera

Video is too dark, usually dark green. Video is chopped up. Too many short scenes. Dialogue is too fast. Too many characters that are not well developed. For me a waste of time.

Yes dark and dreary brownish video. No action. Melodramatic. Very disappointing and not worth my time.
