True Lies (1994)
The Greatest Movie of All Time
This movie is my absolute favourite! Complete with comedy and action, the film is an absolute treasure for any movie lover. Of course, I'm sad to say that some people mistake comedy for an attack on Islamic beliefs, etc. Unfortunately, they fail to realize that it is entertainment, not a treatise on the evils of Islamic terrorists. It is FOR FUN. Did the Catholics give a big hullabaloo over Dogma? No! Do African American Protestants picket theaters that show any of the Nutty Professor movies? No! These people realize that it is a strictly for fun. Maybe some people don't understand the difference between fun and seriousness; and those people are the ones who miss out on great experiences like True Lies.
The Importance of Being Earnest (2002)
Brilliant!
This star-studded comedy does the original complete justice! Never before have a I laughed so hard as when I first saw this movie.
Frances O'Connor (of A.I. and Mansfield Park fame) does great credit to her character with sweet innocence and ignorance; Colin Firth and Rupert Everett are brilliantly funny together; and Reese Witherspoon and Judi Dench have elevated their characters beyond mere words and paper to near perfection.
Indeed, this movie is a must-see for any Oscar Wilde fan, those who love comedies of manners, and, of course, those who just need a good laugh. Watch it yourself; you'll love it from epigram to epigram.
The Little Prince (1974)
Greatest Film Ever
Le Petit Prince is the greatest film ever! It is one of my favourites. It features several memorable hits, such as Be Happy!, I Need Air!, and (my personal favourite) Where Did You Go?. This movie is sure to be a hit at any household. The film is based very (VERY) loosely on the book of the same name by French author Antoine de Saint-Exupery. If anyone can speak French out there, you MUST read this book. It's very good. Yeah, so I guess that's all I have to say. So, allez-vous and watch the movie or read the book right now! Go Petit Prince!!!!!!
