Leverage: Redemption: The Double-Edged Sword Job (2021)
Hitting on all cylinders-Really tight episode!
Heavy on a very topical tech danger-facial recognition run amuck-this episode was the best of the season so far. The dialog was quick but understandable, the tech smart-savvy, and this episode really let us get to know Breonna. The villain was well-written and well-acted, and lady Fed Marshal/possible love interest for Eliot was great and a perfect foil for him. The team and the story were tight - great balance of quirkiness and suspense. Really well done by all!!
Roe v. Wade (2019)
Much-needed light on a travesty in US History
It's a very sad thing that many people do not want to know the truth about a miscarriage of justice that resulted in the taking of millions of lives since Roe was ruled on 40+ years ago, and that today more black lives are lost to abortion in NY than are born. Let that sink in. What black lives matter? Why don't these?
This case was built on lies-lies told to the "poster child" Norma McCorvey to get her to be the plaintiff under false pretenses, lies told by Planned Parenthood's leaders-most of them men-and the fact that 2 of the SCOTUS justices had family members working for Planned Parenthood at the time they were deciding the case. They should have recused themselves and they knew that. All for political purposes.
May God have mercy on us for what we have allowed in this country. Most US citizens do not know that US abortion laws, which allow it on demand up until the day of birth in some states-are vastly more broad that in most European countries, which do not allow abortion beyond the 1st trimester. This is tragic.
Thank you producers and actors, for being brave enough to tell the truth about how we got here and hopefully wake some people up to this crime against humanity.
