Undercover Boss: Bikini's Sports Bar & Grill (2014) Season 6, Episode 3

Disappointing, however...

I feel like many reviewers didn't pay attention to the episode. I too thought it was ridiculous the CEO was mad about the first girl not wearing a bikini top. However, that's not the sole reason she was fired. A big part was that she let that customer keep drinking (HUGE liability issue) and she didn't want to move up in the company. She talked about logistics and sales but didn't want to even do that in the company. That's why she was fired for multiple things, not just wearing a shirt.

The reason I was disappointed was because of that one girl who kept playing on her phone and he offered to get her books. I mean I understand if he just gave money, but they specifically talked about books. Just wasn't wholesome like other episodes have been.

Wagons East (1994)

Terrible

First, I'll say I absolutley love John Candy. Even if he's in a not so good movie he can work his charm and humor to save it. That being said, this was so poorly written and directed. The storyline could've been funny and chose better actors. A real flop. I understand those wanting to watch since it's his last film. Not family friendly, so I wouldn't watch with kids.

Beauty and the Beast (I) (2017)

Better Than Expected

I finally watched this for the first time last night. The film was well casted and the characters were hilarious and charming. Visually, it had beautiful classic French architecture comparable to the 1946 film (ballroom for instance).

All that being said, this is definitley a musical. Which was disappointing for me, because there were so many songs. Felt like way more than the animated film.

Another thing I felt Disney messed up on, was Belle's father they made into an artist and music box maker while Belle was more of the inventor. I thought they would show Belle sketch more inventions or something, but the laundry scene was the only time. Disappointing and it seems like the typical Disney where they want to pretend to have actual female leads that are smart, but only show a glimpse of it and that's all.

All in all, the film was decent and I'd watch it again if I was in the mood for a musical, but otherwise I'd pass for something else.

Christopher Robin (2018)

Adorable for any Disney or Winnie the Pooh fan!

I'm not one to like live action remakes or sequels of Disney animated classics. However this film was absolutley adorable, but also sad because CR is mean to Pooh in several scenes. I loved the storyline and how it used recognizable stories from the original cartoon and books. The CGI designs of Pooh and his friends was sweet. A mix between the original illustrations and 1977 cartoon. I would definitley recommend this.

Friday Night Lights (2006–2011)

Love This Show

Really do enjoy watching this show after my mom got me into it. I have to say Tami, Smash, Vince, Tyra, and Landry are my favorites. There is some annoying teenage drama, but for the most part great storylines and characters.

Don't let the race batters keep you from watching this show. They do address some racial issues, but it's not made political the way it is now. I recommend it.

Great Episode

I do like having two episodes dedicated to the All Valley. I love having the addition of weapons, skill, and boys vs boys/girls vs girls. The only thing I didn't care for was Carrie Underwood. Was hoping "You're the Best" would have been playing since it hasn't been featured in the series yet. Something referring to the 80s or had something to do with the franchise.

Bring on the Memories

It's fun to remember toys we grew up with. So much fun, very enjoyable to point out all the toys we had. The reason I did 8/10 is because they kept speaking "woke" with gender toys. When inwas a kid, if I wanted to play with a toy that was made for boys then I played with them and didn't preach about it. Keep your politics to yourself and let us enjoy the memories.

Out of all the Avenger movies, this one is my favorite. It speaks volumes as to what's going on in the world today. Government control vs the people. I'm Team Captain all the way.

Was excited about this movie, but it spends a lot of time on the romance between two characters. The music is terrible. Disappointing, but if you have nothing better to do then check this out.

This is a great flick from the 80s. Not sure why people are saying its "dated" as if movies didn't exist until now 🙄. It has some funny parts, but more of a drama. Although this is a great family Christmas movie it would be better for older kids due to it being more of a serious film. I would highly recommend it.

Blank Check (1994)

90s Nostalgia

I totally loved this movie when I was a kid. I was only eight, but it was so cool to see the house and all the cool stuff he bought with the money from a blank check. Really, I think this is 5/10 stars, but for nostalgia reason I gave it an extra.

As a kid, I loved this movie. As an adult, I find it disturbing an adult woman kissed a boy on the mouth. Had the sexes been reversed, the movie would've been extremely controversial with parents. If I had kids I'd let them watch the movie, but ya that last part was awkward.

Fun 90s Flick for the Family

I was 10 years old when this came out and loved it. Sinbad is a crack up and it's a fun, comfortable movie to watch on "family night" for those of you with kiddos.

I have a hunch the negative reviews are from past millenials that think Amy Schumer is funny. Watch it for yourself to for your own opinion.

Duel (1971 TV Movie)

Underrated Spielberg Film

Classic Spielberg taking some so simple and making it intense. I would very much recommend getting this on DVD or Blu ray to see the making of this film. It's awesome to hear Spielberg talk about the specifics he wanted like the red car and the license plates of the truck to represent trophies the driver had taken from other victims. It's a great suspense and thriller like Jaws. Can't recommend it enough.

This episode is so much fun to watch and hear Roy Rogers singing with the Muppets. I can only imagine how much fun it was to do these episodes. Oh, Muppet horses are so stinkin cute!!!

If six year old me was writing this movie I'd give it a 10/10 and say it was the best film ever made! As an adult, it's something to be enjoyed by kids. I'm one of those people that loves cheesy horror and sci-fi, but this is bad. However, I would say it's a movie where they did what they could with what they had.

I watch it for nostalgia and that's about it. If you have kiddos then they'll probably enjoy. As an adult you may not. However I always say watch it for yourself and make a judgment call.

I've heard about this show and finally decided to watch it after my dad talked about Christopher Lloyd's character. I'm on episode nine of the first season and really enjoy it. This is definitley a show that started before I was born, but I'm loving it. ❤

This has been one of my favorite Disney animated films since I was a kid. Now that I'm an adult, it's fun to watch with my dogs. Lady and the Tramp is a true classic that I fun to watch at any age.

I'm not sure why so many people are acting like this is a Christian only movie. True it's faith based, but think of how many movies that try to amplify good morals and ethics? That's what this does. Addressing issues like being a good father, work ethic, telling the truth, anddealing with death.

I would very much recommend this to anyone.

What happened?

I remember the first few season, my favorite were with Bobby Flay. They were helping people, giving out tips, and it was fun to watch. I just started watching a later season (with BF) and now there's sound effects, voice overs, and other stupid stuff that's unnecessary. The show has lost its appeal and now it's entertainment instead of learning.

Summer Rental (1985)

Classic John Candy

This is one of my favorite John Candy films. It's a fun, family comedy that never gets old. Great cast, love the soundtrack, and laughable storyline. Would very much recommend to fans of John Candy, 80s flicks, and comedy/family type movies.

Hotel Hell (2012–2016)

Definitley for GR fans!

Not sure why so many are saying he gets nothing done, he clearly does. You can even look up the hotels and many of them are doing great and/or are still open. I do wish there were more details about the hotel part like retraining management and staff sort of thing. Other than that I do enjoy the show.

Really Fun Show & I Love AB

One of the better competitive shows on Food Network. This is definitely more of an entertainment show, not teaching you how to make recipes. Of course Alton occasionally gives suggestions, but it's like watching Chopped or Iron Chef. Just fun entertainment and crazy sabotages.🤣

FYI: Take the negative reviews with a BIG grain of salt. Many of them sound like one or two people that make multiple accts just to be rude.

Love the Culinary Diversity

I've been watching the show for years and have learned so much from them. The culinary diversity is awesome, they all bring something different to the viewers. As much as I like Alex, I'm still trying to get used to her being a co-host. I loved having GZ, Katie Lee, Jeff, and Sunny hosting. If isn't broke, why fix it?

Not sure why Sunny and Marcela keep getting hated on... especially by people who misspell every other word. I wasn't crazy about Marcella as a personality, but Mexican food is her thing and that's the diversity she brought to the show. Sunny has a big personality and obviously enjoys her job, nothing wrong with that. If you have such a problem with happy people then you should re-examine your personality.

One of My Favorite 90s Films

I loved this movie growing up and still enjoy watching it occasionally. It's fun and takes me back to the way movies were before people claimed movies lacked diversity...🙄. Great film for all ages and highly recommend it.
