maddiemoiselle
I've decided I need to completely rewrite this but at the moment I'm drawing a blank.
My name is Maddie (short for Madison), but you may call me Nellie (an inside joke with friends that I'd rather not explain). I'd prefer if you did. If you must address me, you may call me Maddie or Nellie.
I am sixteen years old (August 23), which means I made this account when I was ten. I know you must be thirteen or older (I think?) to have an account, but whatever.

Twilight (2008)
One of the worst I've seen
This will probably be a pretty biased review. I apologize in advance.
Even as a teenage girl I have never been into the Twilight craze. I hadn't heard much about the film at all until I starred in my school's one act, low budget play, 'Sure As You're Born'. As an after party, my drama teacher bought a bunch of pizzas for us and we watched Twilight.
Let me just say I am glad I was busy on my phone this entire time and missed about seventy percent of the movie. When I got home, my mother had bought the movie on iTunes for me to watch, but my sister enjoyed it more than I did, as I suffered through the worst 177 minutes of my life. The movie was terrible. The acting was mediocre at best, especially from the female lead, Kristen Stewart. Watching Stewart's performance was as about as enjoyable as being burned alive (that sounds a little harsh, but I feel Stewart should use her salary from the Twilight movies to hire an acting coach).
The scenes ran horribly together and it felt like I was watching a bad TNT drama than a movie. Feeling that I was too harsh on the film, I read the book, which was not an improvement.
On normal circumstances I would give this film a higher rating, but I can't stand it any longer. I have been harassed and bullied something terrible because I don't like this series, which has lowered my tolerance of anything Twilight related.
To make a long story short, this is the movie you want to see if you enjoy sparkling 107 year old men with fetishes for high school teenage girls.
The Simpsons (1989)
D'oh!
The Simpsons is by far the best animated comedy series I have ever seen. It is about the Simpsons family of Springfield; however, it is never stated where Springfield is located. Enter the Simpsons family, Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie.
Homer Simpson is the basic idea of the American dad: an overweight slob that's a little slow-minded. Homer works at the local power plant and though he is fired several times, he keeps coming back. His catchphrase ("Do'h!") has even been added to the English dictionary. Homer also loves Duff Beer and is often seen at Moe's Tavern.
Marge Simpson is the run-of-the-mill mother. She cooks, she cleans, she runs errands. She loves Homer even with all his faults and she has mothered three children with him. Marge is most famous for her blue hair that's almost as tall as she is.
Bart Simpson (mistakenly called "Brat" by Homer's boss) is the average ten year old boy. He gets into trouble, and is basically the young version of Homer, except with two alterations: he has hair, which is spiked on top of his square head, and he does not have the same weight issue Homer has. He likes skateboarding and also calls his father Homer instead of Dad, Daddy, or Father.
Lisa Simpson is the smartest one in the Simpson family. She is eight and plays the saxophone. She has hair that is spiked like a starfish, and see is amazingly smart for her age. In fact, she even has more wisdom than her ape of a father! She always wears an orange dress along with matching shoes, yet she doesn't really care about her looks (minus the season four episode Lisa the Beauty Queen).
And let's not forget Maggie. Maggie is Marge and Homer's youngest child. She is an infant and always has a pacifier in her mouth. She spoke once in the entire series, yet no one heard her, except the show's audience. Maggie wears an over-sized blue garment, which might be what makes her trip and fall flat on her face. Every once in a while, at random times, Maggie makes a sucking noise from having her pacifier in her mouth.
While people say that after a few seasons this show got old, I disagree and love it 100%. Let's hope that Matt Groening, Simpson's creator, continues on for a little longer, until everyone on the planet is screaming, "ENOUGH ALREADY!!"
Life with Derek (2005)
Hilarious
Okay, technically my bedtime is 9:55 PM, but I stay up an extra hour to watch Life With Derek. It's one of Disney's better shows. Some people say Hannah Montana, The Suite Life, and Wizards are stupid shows but I disagree. At times, yes, they are corny, but definitely not Life With Derek! Anyone who hates this show really shouldn't be on the IMDb page for Life With Derek. I only wish that the name of the show was something like Casey's Life With Derek, and that there was just a tiny bit less romance, but other than that it's awesome! Really, how can anyone HATE Life With Derek?! I saw a comment on another TV show saying "yeah some shows are gay like Life Wth Derek and Wizards of Waverly place" but I personally disagree. Watch the show, if you know what's good for you. It's one of Disney's better shows, unlike The Buzz On Maggie and some others they have. Maybe they should get rid of The Buzz On Maggie (which luckily they did), American Dragon: Jake Long, and Miniscule so we have more time for Life With Derek. Personally we'll all be better off without, and Life With Derek? I'd go into a coma if they take that away. I would scream, "I want Life With Derek!" I don't care what others say. Life With Derek is one of the better shows on Disney and if you haven't seen it I recommend watching it. My brain will slowly start dissolving until I die if it was canceled. Heehee. I don't know. I just hope that if they cancel Life With Derek we will have DVDs with episodes or even a movie. 89 percent of the people I have quizzed (I have quizzed 100) said Life With Derek is an awesome show and if it was canceled they would have to settle for bad shows that will take Life With Derek's time slot. Who could live with that?
The Sound of Music (1965)
"This will go down in history as Mrs. Jackson's all-time favorite movie."
Today, the seventh of February, my teacher, Mrs. Jackson, played two scenes out of The Sound Of Music - "The Sound Of Music" (musical number) and "Do-Re-Mi" - for our new unit, "Beyond The Notes". She played these two scenes because they really have to do with "Beyond The Notes".
"The Sound Of Music" is definitely on my op ten all-time favorite movies, like Mrs. Jackson. It's right in-between Harry Potter and TOOTP and HSMII (which are seven and nine). The Sound Of Music is a wonderful drama about Count Van Trapp and his seven children. One day, a nun named Maria comes into their lives and teaches them about scales, notes, and in general, music. Then suddenly Count Van Trapp is forced to go into service (actually I'm not sure; I've only seen PARTS of The Sound Of Music).
This is a classic you will always treasure and love forever and ever. I recommend this to everyone, even those not on this website. If you have a TV, then this comes on at least once a year on ABC Family. Also, you can get it in a Roger And Hammerstein's set (like Mrs. Jackson did for Christmas). I think this is also on VHS and Blue-Ray. If you can't find it, look up parts on YouTube. They're bound to have at least parts.
Thank you for reading about this extravagant movie. It's a sure-fire classic. This has to be one of the best movies ever made. WATCH IT THE NEXT CHANCE YOU GET!!!!!!!!!!!
