Reba (2001–2007)
Fantastic!
21 December 2001
"Reba" is a fantastic new show, and Reba McEntire is fabulous playing Reba. She plays a Texas mother in the midst of divorce who finds out that both her daughter, Cheyenne (Joanna Garcia) and her husband's mistress, Barbara Jean aka BJ (Melissa Peterson), are both pregnant. Reba is forced to plan a marriage for Cheyenne and her football-playing boyfriend Van. Throughout the show they go through troubles, but always stand through. Reba is a very strong character, and Reba is a very good show. If you haven't seen it yet, you should. Watch it on the WB Friday nights, and enjoy!

Gilmore Girls (2000–2007)
Prepare yourself for an hour of fun!
18 December 2001
Gilmore Girls is one of the hottest, freshest new shows. Even though it is currently in its second season, I still continue and adore it. I really hope this lasts, as the WB turns out very few quality shows that last. The only one that has is 7th Heaven, and too bad Safe Harbor, a show premiering several years didn't make it as well, but I am not here to talk about Safe Harbor, or even 7th Heaven, I am here to talk about Gilmore Girls. Gilmore Girls is a fantastic work of art, and Lorelai and Rory are the best characters with the best chemistry in the world. Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel are perfect in these parts. Besides watching it for Luke, the handsome coffee shop owner, and Dean, the very HOT boyfriend, there are many other reasons to watch, particularly Lorelai and Rory's constant allusions to pop culture, my favorite two being Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (they watch it with Dean in one very good episode), and Dirty Dancing (Lorelai tells Rory "No one puts Baby in the corner" in the episode where Rory is coming out). Another relationship to Dirty Dancing would be that Kelly Bishop, who plays Mrs. Houseman in Dirty Dancing, plays Emily Gilmore in Gilmore Girls. Keiko Agena is fantastic as Lane, and I often find myself enjoying Lane's mother more than Lane. Sookie is one of the best characters, and Melissa McCarthy excels at this role. Every single bit of this show is fantastic, and I would highly advise anyone who has not taken time out of their lives for pure enjoyment to do so by watching Gilmore Girls.

Rudy (1993)
People lose sight of the true meaning of this fantastic movie!
15 December 2001
Although I think that Rudy is one of the best movies of all time, I think that most people lose sight of the true meaning. But first, let me say that I am among the thousands of people who cried when they watched this movie for the first time and that I really wanted him to succeed all through watching it, but too many people only look at the direction or acting in this movie. It is about the story. Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger is from my hometown, I know some of his relatives (my sister is best friends with his niece and his brother teaches at my high school), and I have been to his high school many times. It is no longer Joliet Catholic High School, like it was back then, but within the last decade, it became Joliet Catholic Academy. Back then it was only a boys' school, the girls went to St. Francis, but I am getting side tracked. Like I said earlier, Rudy is about the story. It is about a kid who desperatly wants to play football for Notre Dame, and after years of heartache and triumph, gets into Notre Dame and doesn't even suit up until the last game, due to his teammates bravery and courage. Everyone in this movie is fantastic, from the quite tubby Jon Favreau to Sean Astin as Rudy. I will definitely see it again, but remember people, don't forget Rudy's story.

The Brady Girls Get Married (1981 TV Movie)
Fantastic
15 December 2001
I love this movie, as all true Brady lovers do. Jan and Marcia have a double wedding, Jan to Phillip, her boyfriend of three years, and Marcia to Wally, the object of weeklong whirlwind romance, but along the way they experience some troubles. I especially love this movie because it is the only Brady revival film that brings back all the original cast members. Everyone should enjoy this fantastically fantastic film.

What's your problem people?

Jaws: The Revenge, is ultimately the best Jaws from a viewer's standpoint. It is fantastic. I love Ellen Brody's dream of being eaten by a shark, and her obvious fear of sharks and them hurting her family is splendid, although one would know this anyway. This Jaws film finds new and creative ways to work in a shark.

Babes in Toyland (1986 TV Movie)
9/10
A classic
5 December 2001
I love this movie, it rocks, it rules. Keanu Reeves, Drew Barrymore, and Pat Morita are all in it. They are fantastic in their roles. I don't know where people get off saying this is a bad movie, because it isn't. Although it mildly resembles The Wizard of Oz, and Drew Barrymore looks like a total geekette, it is still fantastic. Barnaby is the best, even though he is evil. The story is timeless, the actors are or will be considered movie greats and I hope I'm not the only one who will remember this fantastic piece of film history.

One of the Best Movies of All Time!!!
24 October 2001
The Corn is Green is one of my favorite movies and for the longest time I never knew the title of it. Bette Davis is wonderful as the teacher who unleashes the genius of Morgan Evans, a Welsh mining town's prodigy. There are so many obstacles that Morgan must overcome, and to see him do this is wonderful. Every time I watch it I am still amazed at Bessie's devilishness and I just love the actress's voice! It is so interesting. Everything in this film makes me feel all good inside and no movie collection is complete without it. The Corn is Green deserves five stars, two thumbs up, and a perfect ten. Everyone should watch this movie. It gives you a new perspective on the world, and even on the life of people at one time in history. I truly love The Corn is Green and if I had not seen it, I would not be who I am today.
