Curious about the concept, but plot is too boring
19 November 2021
They said it would be a beautiful love story, but not to me. I think it's because I had higher expectation and the story turns out pretty boring to me. I like the concept, and I'm always curious with a story about unfinished love. However, the plot is too boring and I found no surprise there.

Beautiful love story with beautiful casts
18 November 2021
Honestly I'm a bit subjective here because I just think the main casts, SYJ and SJS, are the ones who make this movie is even more beautiful. But the love story is also very very heartwarming here! I know it's a bit long which is a two-hour movie, but it's very worth it to watch everything until the end. The story really touches me, and I even cry a bit. Not to mention the last surprise by the end of the story, there will be one more beautiful cast :p

I even think, where I've been doing since I just watched it recently while it was released years ago. Well, If you love a beautiful love story with beautiful casts, then this is the right one for you!

The most beautiful movie video
16 November 2021
It's just so brilliant! I am not a Swiftie, but I can't deny Taylor Swift is very talented. I think if I didn't see this short movie, then I wouldn't fall in love with the song. It's literally a long song, a 10-minute song, but I still love every bit of it without looking bored or constant.

Sadie Sink and Dylan O Brien are so outstanding there. They are able to deliver the emotion and meaning behind Taylor's song in a short movie. I really feel withdrawn into their emotions, I can feel the love, anger, sadness, etc. I never experience the same thing, but I can feel how heartbroken she was. Well the emotion in this song is very strong. Brilliant!

A mystery with a hint of emotional breakdown
16 November 2021
I have no doubt with Kate Winslet, she's so outstanding and she really deserves the Emmys for this show. I love the whole story and I feel interested to explore the puzzles. I think what makes it more interesting is due to the emotion and background from the characters. So it's not only about the mystery, but it's also about the chemistry that makes you feel withdrawn into the story. In other words, it also explores about Mare herself. So no wonder if I don't feel bored to binge watch the whole show in one day.

But honestly I also hope the plot could be better for certain points, for example about Detective Zabel, I think he deserves better plot lol.

It could be better and scarier
16 November 2021
Honestly I have more expectation than this, but it's still okay though. The first one is obviously better, scarier and more tense. I literally could hold my breath when watched the first one, and I also thought both films were still related.

Well, it turns out the second one is completely different story but with the similar theme and same former navy seal as the main star. It is still tense though, but I expect more.

It is okay, but not a kind of tense thriller
16 November 2021
I think it's just okay. I'm interested to see Seo Yea Ji there, and she is also good. Well, I feel a bit bored at the beginning but it's still worth it to finish the whole film. At least you'll understand the plot after completing it. Overall, it's not bad.

Cute Christmas movie
8 November 2021
Nina Dobrev and Darren Barnet are the main reason why I wanna watch this movie. Well, everything is cute there. It's very light and easy to enjoy. I think it's just very entertaining Christmas movie.

But somehow there is a bit rush for the ending. I think it's mainly due to lack of chemistry between main casts so it feels like a forced happy ending. Well overall it is still cute though.

A crazy drunk flight attendant who turns to be a detective
7 November 2021
I think it's just okayyy, there is nothing special with it. The concept is pretty interesting at first, but it's only getting worse. I really try to enjoy the story and the way how they try to solve the puzzles, but nah - it's not that interesting to me since there are too many dull moments, from the poor acting, plot and set up. I know it's a mystery and we are supposed to get along with the story, but it's too boring and dull.

Overall, it's only about a crazy drunk lady who tries to be a detective. Besides, I really hate the parts where she keeps talking with a dead person in her imagination. Lastly, I think they can manage a better plot into a movie instead of 8-episodes show, and the plot is too scattered.

No surprise, but still entertaining
4 November 2021
Honestly the story doesn't surprise me, and the ending is pretty absurd. But overall it is still entertaining to me. It's very easy and light to watch since it is not a type of show that require your brain to work hard. I can binge-watch the whole series in one day without getting bored, which is a good sign to me. I also love the music, even though it's pretty weird for some people.

Beautiful scenes but bleh ending
31 October 2021
Actually I give 7.5 stars, and it is also close to 8 but it's not there yet. The vibe is really similar to "Marriage Story", but they are just different. From all the dialogues and set up, I really feel like watching a theater, it's just beautiful and intense. Besides, I think the whole series would be nothing without the outstanding main casts. They both are so brilliant since they are able to bring up the whole emotion through every scene and dialogue. As a viewer, I feel withdrawn into their dialogues and I also can feel the mixed emotion between Mira and Jonathan.

However, I really wish the plot could be better, especially for the last episode. I really don't understand the point of the last episode, it's just confusing and quite disappointing. I think they should stop at fourth episode, or at least with a better ending. Besides, I also think the dialogues are too much, well maybe it's due to the concept is supposed to be like that. But it will look so boring at some points. Overall I still love it though.

I expect more but Selena Gomez is still a gem there!
30 October 2021
It's very obvious that Selena Gomez is the star of this show. I am not a fan of her, but I just love her there. Her voice and everything about her just seem well fitted there. Despite the popular stars, this overall show is not "a star" yet. Well, the plot is actually pretty interesting, and I keep waiting more suprises so it would be more attractive. But after completing all episodes, I must admit this is only an average show, it's not bad but it's also not something that you must add into your watch list.

Not bad, but not a gem
28 October 2021
I found out there are a lot of good reviews coming out from this one, and that's the main reason why I decide to watch it. Well, the story plot is actually pretty good. I love the way how the woman is trying to struggle and survive so hard for her daughter. Her life seems very depressing with never ending problems, and I think most her problems are due to her own stupidity, geez. Well, I can see why people tend to like it, because it's actually quite heartwarming.

However, I think 10 episodes are too much because there are too many unnecessary scenes and I don't even think it is related to the main story. Overall it is not bad, but it is also not a gem to me.

Romantic Sunday with dimple couples
28 October 2021
I think hype is the main reason why I am so curious to watch this K-drama, but I can't deny the main casts are also very charming there. This drama is very light and easy to watch. The conflicts are also pretty simple, so it is very obvious that the story is also pretty average for a K-drama. Despite the average plot, this is still a star and charming in a certain way. It is able to deliver the heartwarming sensation after watching it.

On top of that, I also love the dimple couples there. Well, maybe some people think that their love scenes are very cringe, but I still love it though! I am not a fan of cliche love story, but I just love the chemistry between both main casts and I still consider it as a cute one.

Oh, don't forget about the popular "la la la" song for the soundtrack. I think everyone can play the song over and over again in their head. This "Romantic Sunday" is very suitable to this drama, especially whenever the scenes between main casts are coming out. It's just perfect with an excellent cinematography from this drama.

Thin line between faith and delusion
18 October 2021
I think my title above has decribed the point of the whole series. Honestly I was so curious about it due to the title and director behind The Haunting of Hill House. But it is just sooo boringgg, the pace is very slow and too many unnecessary dialogues. I think it's because I have had higher expectation since Hill House is outstanding.

Well the concept is actually not that bad at the beginning. But too many things that make me feel off, from the modern "Twilight" concept, weird monster, awful graphics until using religion as the main bridge to deliver and portray the story. I think that's not wise at all.

Just binge watch the first season, and forget the rest.
17 October 2021
I really love the first season, the plot and characters really get me hooked. But I can say the story is getting boring and average after the first season, especially the third one. After all, it's a thriller, so it should make you thrilled when watching it. I find the story is getting lame with no more surprise.

I think this is time for Netflix to end this show with a good ending, unless it will be too long and boring with a similar rhytm from one to another season.

Squid Game (2021– )

Average thriller with A Class cameos
16 October 2021
The survival story is actually pretty good, but it doesn't really surprise me in a way like how a thriller should be able to suprise you. Honestly, I must admit that is too overrated since there are still tons of movies/series with better quality. To me, the story is not that tense and plot twist is also very average for a survival story.

However, what I like the most is the emotional effects that you usually find from a K-drama. As a viewer, I am able to understand the characters' backgrounds till they want to sacrifice their life for money. I mean it is very sensible since you can find it in our everydays' life. Obviously, this is a very good point since most survival stories are not that logical and sensible. Well, we can find a lot of life lessons from Squid Game. I think this is one the reasons why it is too overrated despite the average plot twists.

On top of that, I really love the 'A Class' actors as the cameos, it's quite surprising though I wish they could involve more. I think instead of the main casts, Gong Yoo is the main trigger why people are so curious to watch it. In other words, A Class cameos are the stars there. Well, I really hope they will bring back Gong Yoo and Lee Byun Hun later on!

Plot twists over plot twists
16 October 2021
I can say this is quite underrated, but it is seriously a masterpiece. The plot is perfectly written, and it's very hard to find the loopholes. Honestly, the genre is not my usual preference. It's a bit confusing with the whole technical jargons while the plot is not straight forward and quite complicated at the same time. So, I'm pretty sure this is not for everyone, and I could say this wasn't for me at first. But I just keep going, and all the plot twists really surprise me.

Besides, all twists are also very realistic and sensible at the same time but they are still able to surprise me in a unique way. On top of that, Rami Malek is just so brilliant picturing the "characters". Though this is my first series about complicated technology in hackers' world, with the addition of economic, social and politic issues, but I can't deny that is so brilliant!

Me to you, you to me
18 September 2021
I think it's 7.5 for the first season, and 9 for the second one! I wish they would tell more about each main character, but since this is about hospital life so no wonder they also try to explore different story for the supporting characters including the patients. As a "non-medical" person, it's a bit confusing to understand all the jargons. I binged watching the first season, and surprisingly I found it a bit boring because of the slow pace and too many medical jargons which I wasn't interested at all. But in the second season, I think I've fallen in love with the main characters. I love the friendship between all the characters, and the way how they support and be there for each other. Well, to me, the most interesting part is about the background and life lesson behind each story, it's just very very heartwarming. The romance between the characters is just enough but not too much. And for the last part, I love the soundtrack from the first season more. Oh I just love it!

Impressively splendid zombie show
30 August 2021
This is my first experience of a zombie show, binge watching in two days and I can't agree more with all the hypes! It's just sooo brilliant! I love every single thing about it, amazing casts, superb story plot, impressive zombies, splendid cinematography, literally every single thing. I am so amazed with Ju Ji Hoon here, he perfectly portrays himself into the character. And I also love the queen, her acting is so great till you can feel how cruel she is. Even after finishing the show, I still browse its behind the scenes because it's simply hard for me to move on from such a brilliant show. Trust me, you'll be so amazed and thrilled with the concept, quality and Ju Ji Hoon's charm. I really can't wait for the third season and hope they won't end it sooner *finger crossed*.

Emotionally moved!
30 August 2021
The story plot is actually very good, I really love the way how they tell the background of each character. You can sense the bond between the family and how they are always there for each other. It's very very heartwarming, so many life leasons that you can take from this show. I really love the idea and concept at the early season.

But I start to feel bored in season 4. I feel it is too dragging, and the story keeps back and forth with no ending. I wish they could make it shorter, and I don't think it is necessary to add more drama between the family just to make this show be longer. Thankfully they decide to end this show in season 6, I think that's a wise decision because people would start to hate if it'd be too dragging.

Quite thrilled but could be better
30 August 2021
I give it 7 for a Netflix's quality, since as we all know that Netflix has tons of movies and series with garbage quality, but this one is still enjoyable for the whole 8 episodes. The story plot is actually pretty good, but I wish the casts could be better. I don't know whether it is just me who feel so judgy with all the casts, but Nick is the only who does well here. There are too many loopholes in this show, such as a teenager who finds the culprit like what the hell the police does, the sister who always acts like a "Karen", and the ending is not so adorable, of course with the whole plot twist we expect something better than that.

When famous actresses sit together
29 August 2021
I love both seasons, but I think the famous stars are the main reason why this drama is so hype. However I can't deny that this drama is still so interesting regardless of the famous stars as the key marketing. Who doesn't feel so interested to see Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern and Meryl Streep act together in one screen. Laura Dern is so fabulous in second season, especially when she snapped at her husband, the showing emotion is so cool. My another favorite part is the court scene with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. This is just so fabulous, and most importantly this is not a dragging one just like how a typical hyped drama usually look likes.

Best historical drama with the most charming king ever!
27 August 2021
This drama was aired years ago, and I've watched it twice two years in a row. I'm not a fan of historical drama, this is the first time I've watched it and I am totally amazed with it. Obviously Kim Soo Hyun always looks so stunning in all his projects, but I think this is the best one and one of his mega hits that boost his popularity. I was so skeptical about historical drama because I thought it would be so boring. But this is an exceptional, this is just a perfect package. I'm very impatient with slow paced drama, but trust me it is just too good. A very charming Kim Soo Hyun (I'm totally falling in love with him here), outstanding child actors and don't forget its famous soundtrack by Lyn!

A drama with a high quality movie
27 August 2021
Honestly this drama is almost perfect. Everything seems very detailed, excellent pictures, amazing casts, unforgettable soundtracks, which I can say this is a movie quality instead of a TV show. Even though the age gap between Lee Byung-hun and Kim Tae-ri is quite big, both casts are still so amazing to show their chemistry. Minimum physical touch and no kissing scene, which is very rare for a romance K-drama, but you can still sense the amazing chemistry between them. I love all the main casts, they all are so amazing. I don't know how many times I should say amazing to describe how amazing it is, but it is a very good one!

The only downside to me is a bit slow, since I'm quite impatient with a slow-paced story, so I feel quite bored during the mid episodes and somehow I feel like the story is going nowhere. But overall it's still so enjoyable to me. I think this is the first time I've ever seen a K-drama with a movie quality, and I keep repeating the soundracks in my playlist, love it!

Something similar to "The Office"
26 August 2021
The rating is actually closer to 8, but it isn't 8 star to me. It's pretty good, very easy and entertaining. My favorites are the supporting characters, especially Sandra, she is my most favorite one. Glenn, Dina, Cheyene, Jerusah are also very weird but funny! Dina is so similar to Dwight from The Office, so weird but really really funny. The weird part is I don't really like the main cast like Jonah and Amy. I don't think both characters are necessary to complete this show. The supporting casts are more alive to give more sparks and joy. Even though The Office is so much better, but you can still feel the "quirky" vibe here. I really recommend this show if you want to find something similar to The Office.
