Decent

While not in the same gritty caliber as some cable shows are (the Shield, Deadwood, Sopranos) it does have some strong acting and good writing. There was a comment about it's 'anti-war' sentiment, but I really don't see that at all. Leguizamo's speech is not truly anti-war, but getting the government to support the troops in in the fashion that they MUST be supported. Never does the show give the message that 'the war is bad' and those people who think that are just reading into his speech what they want to hear. The plot is a little weak, but but the acting and the dialogue is strong and well delivered. The Kill Point is certainly worth a look.

Give it a try. It's only 8 episodes long (just a mini-series) but replays fairly often.

Don't bother

I had high hopes for this series. Can the writers, producers, and director have even watched this garbage? You'd think that a company like SciFi, able to bring quality, superior shows like Battlestar Galactica and Doctor Who, would at least be able to make a decent show. I would have been happy if it was at least watchable, but the writing and acting (and even the effects) are just plain awful. I saw the panel for this show at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, and everyone involved with the show really seemed genuinely proud and excited about this project. I am very sorry to say that they should all be ashamed of their involvement . There are 11 episodes filmed already, but I would be very surprised to find that SciFi ever airs even half of them. I've erased it from my DVR memory and will not bother watching another episode.

Don't waste your time.
