The Adventures of Pinocchio (1996)
The adventures of Wood Boy maybe for you?
I liked when they bullies said he had termites but by the end of the movie they were all friends and it was nice to see. At the start of the movie Pinocchio can't really walk or talk by the end he is a pro. The movie took many liberties from the source material, mainly this is something you watch and hear and don't read. A wood pecker attacked Pinocchio at one point so that maybe scary to children or adults afraid of birds.
7 outta 10! Would Recommend to anyone who enjoys period pieces about wooden children and is not afraid of birds, like my mother in law is.
Six Children and One Grandfather (2018)
One cup... cheered to this movie.
I can't see how the filmmakers didn't name this family movie in reference to 2 girl, 1 cup. And that pretty much sets the tone for the movie. Grandpa would rather hang out with big breasted party girls than his grandkids but he comes around. This movie feels like a front and funds are being shuffled around behind the scenes but I like when the one guy tried to drug the grandpa to sign papers. I can honestly say I didn't know what would happen from one scene to the next and I was kept on my toes the entire time. If you liked 2 girls one cup, this might be worth checking out!
Raising Arizona (1987)
Dry as the desert and as funny as heatstroke
Fast paced in a tumbleweed across the highway sort of way. The comedy falls flat and feels like a decent SNL skit at best and a comedy desert at its worst.
20% of the film is Reaction shots of the baby and the rest is seems to be Yodeling?
The final resolution makes no sense and the baby would have realistically been dead by the end of the movie.
If you're looking for surrealism or laughter from your comedy there's better picks out there.
The biker guy was pretty cool, so an extra star goes to him.
