Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968)
A true classic
This is one of my all time favourites. I loved it as a child and still rate it as one of the all time greats. More commonly known for his James Bond movies, Flemming wrote this story for his son Casper. Like the bond movies, the story also includes strange machinery, a fast car, beautiful women and the stereo-typical badies.
Ben Elton: Ben Elton Live (1997)
Brilliant stand up comedy from the master himself
Ben Elton, known for TV shows such as 'The Young Ones' and 'Blackadder' comes and gives us even more of his satirical, yet a little less political, wit. Claiming that the Politicians don't give a toss about Politics, so why should he.
With a broad range or topics from Englands great sporting achievements to possible results of an embroidered chair after a dinner party, this is his best yet.
Ben personifies what good English humor is all about. I'd give you alot more detail about this show, however it's too good for me to be able to put into words. I'll just say that I was laughing so hard when I saw it, my next door neighbour knocked on the door to ask what I was watching, that was so funny.
