Perfect Murder, Perfect Town: JonBenét and the City of Boulder (2000)
Thrilling,than boring
I've just seen "Perfect murder, perfect town",and they drag you right from the beginning into the action. After 30 minutes you think, whaaaww this is good stuff, but as off than the story gets much too far carried away and when the second part of the movie starts, you'll seriously get bored.Just so much that at the end you couldn't care less who did it. They shouldn't made a mini-serie out of this one.If the director can't get the story in a logical order and throws different charactors and plots right through each other then you shouldn't. So,as a short summary:first half an hour thrilling, then 2 hours and a half boring and very dull!!!!!
Team Spirit (2000)
At least worth looking at it
This Belgian movie about a group of friends who play soccer together during the weekend,is constructed into a nice little movie.Considering the low budget this film was made with,it looks rather good, certainly when you know that lots of wellknown actors in Belgium are playing in it.I'd liked it.No more,no less.Jan Verheyen did it one more time again. All his films were at least worth looking at it.
Office Space (1999)
Entertaining stuff
Office Space is a true home video movie. It doesn't have a great story to tell, but it is after all just an entertaining movie to see on a Saturday night.Nothing serious, but after the film you look at the clock and find out that time just flew by.Isn't that just what a good movie is all about?
Festen (1998)
Strange with no structure
Could anyone please give me one good reason why this movie got such a high score.Because I can't.It's a very strange film with a lot of shouting and stuff and,in my opinion, without any structure at all. I could give you many examples, but to make a long story short,I didn't like it at all!
Cape Fear (1991)
De Niro at his very best.
Cape Fear is one of those movies, people go to the cinema for. This cast is really terrific with a very good performance of Nick Nolte, who has always been a solid actor. But what made this film so thrilling is Robert De Niro.He really scares you to death. With some other movies you'll sit at the edge of your seat, but Cape Fear is from a higher level. If you don't watch out,you will just fall off or even worse, get a heart attack!
