The Dukes of Hazzard (2005)
What happened?
What in the hell happened to the good ol' boys?? This was a discrace on all hazard fans every where. The characters were absolutely horrible. I don't know about anyone else but Sheriff Coaltrains little ah gee-gee's and shame, shame, everyone knows your name. And with as far as boss hogg, BO, and Luke duke, uncle Jesse, cooter and enus are concerned, they absolutely sucked! Uncle Jesse was strict down home kinda guy. Boss Hogg was a sneaky, greedy old man, but not a Burt Reynolds. Sean Scott and Jonny Knocksville are funnier than hell, but there not anywhere close to Bo, and Luke Duke. Enus was close but far from in the shows! I let my friends talk me into going because I at the time had a 91 probe I painted bright orange and would always play ol' Waylon's Good ol' boys as loud as possible. I had to scrap the car due to bent and twisted uni-body. Yes I did jump it before and had tons of fun playing BO duke. Please, Don't let our youth watch this awful movie. Let them watch the REAL dukes of hazard. Back in the day.
Bring It On: All or Nothing (2006)
don't spend money on this
Through out the entire movie Brittany's nick name is "white girl" given to her from a "black girl". I don't understand, if there would be a movie out that had a black girl named Leisha for example and a white girl called her black girl, the movie would never see the theaters because somewhere somebody would be bitching because this movie's racist. And another thing, what the hell is "CRUMPING"??? it looks like a bunch of people acting like a bunch of idiots. This is the WORST dance/cheerleader/movie ever produced. Mabey someday someone will think up a movie with hot girls, no stupid dancing and no black people calling a girl "white girl".
The Santa Clause (1994)
what wrong with America anymore???
Whats the matter with some people now a days?? Everyone's ditching the American youths hopes and wishes. There just kids, let them believe there is a Santa clause, It gives them something to look forward to. Everyone is always trying to get kids to grow up faster. Let them enjoy there childhood, they only get one. I personally though the movie was awesome and I know my kids really enjoyed it. I thought Tim Allen did a horrendous job in play jolly ol' saint nick. The effects were awesome(considering time movie was made)with getting the reindeer and the chimney effects etc...It was a great movie and everyone needs to quit crushing children's dreams. Thats why there's violence in schools.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)
Absolutely spectacular
What a great movie! This was the greatest movie that has ever been released to the screen. I wore out 3 VHS tapes and 2 VCR's watching this movie. Everything seemed so understandable even as a little kid. I wanted nothing more that to let my kids now watch this movie and see what was awesome when I was a kid. At first they weren't really interested because there into that damn Pokémon stuff. Just jump off subject real quick, Where did this come from? Lousy Japanese cartoons that have collector cards that cost 6$ for 10 cards. After about 15 minutes of watching they loved it. It makes me very proud to see My kids enjoying something I did as a kid and still do as an adult.
3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain (1998)
WOW that wasn't good
When I was younger when this movie was released, I was 6 years old and when it was over, I felt as though i could whoop butt. The second one made me glad I was older and didn'y act like that anymore. I was embarrassed to see it. Why do they make them waaaa and hiya and uh sounds? What is that? They just made this film hard to believe because everyone knows there isn't any way that 3 kids could take down that man grown men. It just doesn't happen. I hope there done producing god-awful movies such as this one. Mabey with todays effects they could do a little, well, A lot better in trying to make a kiddie karate movie a little more interesting.
Dangerous Minds (1995)
The Unknown
This movie to me showed America at work. An inner city school that all the students think is "unknown" to the rest of the world. They say "you don't understand, where I come from) making the rest of America seem like the perfect place. It shows what actually happens in the big city schools. Drugs, sex, violence, and pure racism. But what is not understood in that movie, WHY IS A U.S. MARINE driving around in a VOLVO for, and with the extensive training required by the marines, why was she so scared in the school, and on the roller-coaster. This movie was rather touching with pity for those children because they made it that way.
The Hazing (2004)
what a shocker
Wow, I just watched this movie last night for the first time and I must say it's not at all what I had expected. My girlfriend wanted a "scary movie" (Tremors scared her badly) so i figured i'd get a real scary movie and she'd get scared and be real close. About 30 minutes into the movie, She's laughing so hard she couldn't quit. I was rather disappointed in myself because I am known for getting horrific movies to watch, not the scary comedy. Now I have to take it back and try again. Shes terrified of werewolves so i'm aiming towards The Silver Bullet by Stephen Sing, i don't know yet. It most certainly will not be another walk by pick. Mabey I'll get a new one, saw, or one of them other scary movies.
The Pennsylvania Miners' Story (2002)
close to home
This story is something like what actually happened, I live in somerset pa. The mine in which the coal miners were trapped in is exactly 2 miles from my house. I personally know the guys who were trapped in the mine. As compared to a lot of other "based on a true story" movies this one is actually pretty close to the actual happenings. The mine is still running and still has all the publicity signs up. This whole catastrophe could have been prevented if the maps would've been updated before they began digging. On a personal note, the 9 men trapped in the mine hesitated and didn't want a movie to be made of this. They claim "I was just doing my job" which I respect greatly because they represent a life long traditional job that has been a "way of life" for many generations.
2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)
What happened?
The Fast and the Furious, The first movie was way better than the second one. Where did all the hot girls go? The main female in this movie, the Japanese girl, has ABSOLUTELY no attractive characteristics about her whatsoever. And the cars, they were OK, but whats up with brians passenger side driver skyline in the beginning? The first movie, i think was highlighted with the quarter mile races and the actual cars that people have in real life. With the second movie, the cars alone are exotic sports cars with thousands apon thousands apon thousands of dollars worth of mods done to them. Its just the whole main topic of the movie is way off. This is an OK movie but it isn't even close to the first one.
Hide and Seek (2005)
it could go both ways
This movie is an edge of your seat film but on the same perspective it's one of those movies that you see it once and it takes a lot out of it because you know every thing already. A lot of movies are like that anymore. If I may so Dakota Fanning is an extremely good actor for her age. This movie shows many different kinds of suspense. Every time you think you have it figured out, it turns around and gives you another point of view. Robert DeNiro is one of the most known actors on the set, Hes getting old but he can still throw those movies out like he records his awesome mob movies, this one is a little different for him. But he still played his role like it would be expected from a famous actor like him.
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001)
laugh out loud funny
Absolutely the funniest movie i've ever seen, yeah, its a little, well a lot vulgar but its absolutely unforgettable. Every time i watch this movie i find myself laughing at the insane behavior that jay and silent bob produce. The basic plot of the movie is rather stupid but the general movie itself is hilarious. Not a very good movie for the kids. Jay is funnier than ever and with there come back in clerks 2, hopefully we'll be seeing them more often. They go together like gas in a car. I would not recommend the "soft hearted" watch this movie because the language is "grown up only." This movie got a 10 out of 10 rating because it has that immature comedy scene and I would recommend this movie to everyone ages 16-40.
Jackass Number Two (2006)
it never ceases to amaze me
wow, they really did it this time. But oh my god, With as far as the branding on Bam Margera, well yeah its gonna hurt. Its hurts just watching. On my personal opinion, they need to do more real life stuff. Does anyone know how much it cost to make that movie?? Yes, it was extremely funny, and yes at the same time, quite painful, in the theaters besides the laughing i heard ouch, and the most common, thats gotta hurt. They need to blow stuff up too. This movie got a 10 because it is so unique in its own way, you just don't see stuff like this anywhere else. The jet packs on the wheel chair and bicycles was absolutely pee your pants funny, thats what sold the sequel to me. Wow, keep up the good work.
Jackass: The Movie (2002)
jackass not4every1
These boys don't care weather or not some guy in the audience is going oh my god, i have a huge IQ. they do it to make people with a sick twisted sense of humor laugh. It isn't meant for the people at the old folks home, or for the preteens. Its meant to make those of us who don't have the kahunas(or the money to afford it) to do what they do laugh. Im sure they put there fair share of money into making this movie. All the things they ride into the lake, the demo derby rental car, the trip to japan and the fireworks. It all costs a lot of money. So i guess what i'm trying to say is way to go boys, were waiting on number 4. Yeah, because everywhere there is someone going oh my god why are they doing that to themselves? and at the same time there are some late teens, early 20's aged people laughing so hard they cant stop. If you cant handle pain with pleasure, then you need to go to the rated G section of the theaters.
