The Facts of Life (1979–1988)
Jo is not what you thing. She was the worst acted and most artificial looking character ever created.
3 March 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Did you know that Jo was the worst character ever created? Nancy McKeon can't even act very well, and had to resort to so many cosmetic(facial makeup only) procedures just to get the role won for her(examples, {{Green Colored Contacts/Blue Colored Enhancer Contacts to play as green eyed Jo} that's if Jo's eyes were green that is.}, Facial makeup to make herself look more mature, tough, and 16 instead of 13-14, etc.

And don't even get me started that Jo has green eyes and Blair's eyes were brown with green and gold flecks crap. Jo/Nancy's eye color is Hazel and looks exactly the same yellow/gold/olive brown/light brown colors as Kelly Clarkson's eyes, Hillary Duff's eyes, Carisma Carpenter's eyes, and Lil Bow-Wow's eyes. And Lisa/Blair's eyes are just plain solid brown colored and her eye color and shade resembles Sandra Bullock's and Captain Spock/Leonard Nimoy's own set of pure/no flecked brown eyes.

This whole show with its green/blue tinting makes me sicker than a dog.

And yes, I think Nancy McKeon did wear colored contacts on this show.

The Division (2001–2004)
This show sucks, big time. I'll never watch this piece of crap ever again!!!
27 May 2004
Yes, the first three seasons were great, I'll admit to that. But ever since Nancy McKeon announced that she was pregnant and had it incorporated into her character, the show started to suck. When Nancy McKeon was absent, which resulted in her Jinny character also being absent for those 3 or 4 episodes, the show sucked big time, and I'll bet thousands of my hard earned dollars that during those Roma Downey episodes in which Nancy McKeon/Jinny Exstead was completely absent, the show took a major nosedive in the Neilsen's ratings as never before seen on any TV show of any kind to date. If Nancy McKeon were to leave this show for good, it'll totally ruin this show so bad that it'll put it from the top 15 or 20 shows on basic cable to the very, very bottom 5 in the Neilsen's rating for basic cable shows. Let's hope that Nancy McKeon doesn't decide to do something as bold-headed or dimwitted as leave this show for good. It would make this show totally suck, big time.

And also, this show took some ratings dive when Tracey Needham left the show and Amy Jo Johnson took over. I just can't stand to see Raina as Nate's partner at all. It sucks badly enough. And Amy Jo Johnson's Stacey character is the worst character I've ever seen on T.V. to date. Amy Jo Johnson has to be the worst, and I mean worst, actress I've ever seen to date. Amy Jo Johnson couldn't even act well on Felicity. What makes you think she's gonna pull this one off. Amy Jo Johnson is the worst actress ever, period. John Hamm is not the best of them, either. Taraji P. Henson acts too much like a tomboy version of Hillary Duff, and Lisa Vidal is just too soft. The only good actresses on this show, period, are Nancy McKeon and Bonny Bedelia, and the former Tracey Needham, who's no longer there. That's why this show is beginning to suck. If Nancy McKeon were to leave, that would leave Bonny Bedelia as the only sole good actress to hold the show together. People just don't buy up Lisa Vidal's, John Hamm's, Taraji P. Henson's, or Amy Jo Johnson's acting ability or personality at all. Most people would think those 4 suck, as well. Yes, Deborah Joy Levine brought in Amy Jo Johnson because she was a Power Ranger and on Felicity, but she also brought in one of the worst actresses known. Amy Jo Johnson just can't bring her character to life, leaving a very hollow Stacey for us to be forced into viewing. If Jinny/Nancy McKeon leaves, we'll all be forced into viewing nothing but very hollow, not well acted detectives. Magda will definitely go from being good because she was with Jinny to being another very hollow character.

Lightning Field (1991 TV Movie)
Another green-eyed babe gets tormented by an evil brown-eyed cult.
29 February 2004
I've seen enough of these light-eyed gets bashed by dark-eyed flicks before in the past. This flick isn't the only time I've seen an emerald eyed lady have bad thing done to her. I've seen it done before on Big Trouble in Little China. Only difference is on Big trouble, there was no baby and the dark eyed ones was an evil Chinatown cult led by Lo-Pan. On this movie, the dark eyed ones was an evil Mexican-Indian cult led by some lady, and yes, it features a baby in it. Not to say that it's bad or anything. The plot on this one is basic. Indian cult grabs baby from green-eyed mother and uses it for sacrifice ritual so all ladies from that tribe will be fertile again.

Why those with the Green-eyed gene? Oh why?

They stereotype the detectives to death!
30 December 2003
Is it just me, or do they stereotype the detectives to death.

We know CD is blue eyed, the innocent one, and just plain sweet looking. It's what blue eyes represents. Jinny, with her green eyes and dark hair would be considered too sexy. Heck, she slept around with every available man in season 1. After all, if a person has green eyes, they are considered sexy and likely to sleep around with everyone? And then there's Raina, brown eyed, and extremely smart. Doesn't having brown eyes automatically mean that you're really smart and brainy and super-intelligent? Well, it seems that way to me. Jinny-Green eyed-Sleeps around with anyone. Just looks too sexy. CD-Blue eyes-Looks too sweet. Raina and Captain both-Broun eyes-Intelligent and brainy. Just seems that way to me. Sorry if I see it like that! TV today seems to have brown eyed people as the intelligent ones, blue eyed people as the sweet ones, and green eyed people as the sexy ones. And yes, I've always thought that Nancy McKeon was sexy, just look at her eyes and hair. Green eyes and chestnut(brown with red highlites) colored hair. Oh what a combo.

Just the Ten of Us (1987–1990)
This show reminds me of another well known 80's show with 4 girls in it!
7 October 2002
If you guessed the Facts of Life, you guessed right, cause this show reminds me somewhat of the Facts of Life cause this show and The Facts of Life both featured 4, count it, 4 girls living in the big upstairs atticlike room.

so I say this show is like The Facts of Life, Family Ties, and Coach all mixed into one.

awesome show so far!
9 June 2002
So far, the show is awesome, and hope the show gets even more awesome on season 3. All the actors and actresses on the show are just as awesome, too. Ms. Mckeon, while she may be different this season compared to last season is only because her character is now sober and having to redevelope thyself again. yes there's definitely a different Jinny as we all see her. but she's still an excellent character. Always loved Ms. Mckeon's performance on the sunday 6/2/02 episode where she's going undercover at an illegal cosmetics firm. as well as a few others this season i can't remember the names to. And we'll see in future episodes for season 2 how awesome she does. because according to the episode guide that i came to on an internet site for the division, the title names imply that the episodes will be totally awesome. So far, way to go Ms. Mckeon, Mrs. Vidal, Mr. Hamm. Keep up the good work, and may the very best be with you.

If Nancy McKeon would not play as Jo, couldn't some other actress have played as Jo instead?
28 April 2002
If I were the one who directed this reunion movie and the actor/actress who portrayed one of the characters didn't show up, I would have looked for another person to act as that character. So Nancy Mckeon didn't want to reprise her old role of Jo, you all could have found another actress to play as Jo. Actresses like Sandra Bullock, Anjelina Jolie, Tiffany Thiessen, or even Neve Campbell all look similar to Jo and could have played as Jo. Who needs Nancy McKeon to play today's version of Jo anyway. If you look at the noses of Jo and how Nancy McKeon's nose looks today, there would be a big difference. Jo's nose looked rather pudgy and round, while Ms. McKeon today has a roman arch type nose. So Nancy McKeon probably would not fit the part of Jo very well today. She just does not look like how Jo would probably look like today. Think about it. Other well known actresses could have, and would probably have been willing to play the part of Jo, but they (the producers) wanted Nancy McKeon to play the part right when she refused.

bad film, worst location for a film to be made
24 October 2001
This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. And the city and area where it was shot is perhaps the worst of them all. The city of El Paso? Pleeeze! Give me a break. If they needed to shoot the film in Texas or use a Texas city, they could of used cities like Austin, Fort Worth, or Dallas. And if you're wanting to watch it for Chuck Norris instead, just rent his "Missing in Action" movies instead.

I would not even give this movie a mere fraction of a star, that's just how much this movie sucked.

the good, the bad, and the ugly!
17 October 2001
The good----[Nancy McKeon's and Adrien Shelly's roles as Sara and Teresa are good. Sara's and Teresa's adventures take them from Teresa's stepparent's house through other places to some guy's house.]

The bad-----[The bad guys{one is a redneck hick and the others are all just dummies.}]

The ugly----[C. Thomas Howell should of been replaced alltogether. You know what? They could of used someone like Dennis Leary to play the part of the crime boss and frozen food factory owner. He would of made a smoother talking crime boss and frozen food factory owner than Mr. Howell.]

Overall, this movie is still watchable.
