This is a must see movie. Based on Stephen Kings book with the same title, 'The Shining'. It has a lot of differences from the book to the film. I truly believe the movie is better than the book. You will love this movie because of the hidden meanings and conspiracies that have made many people think of what does it mean. Jack Nicholson is at his best. A man drives his family to a hotel to take be the caretaker for the winter. What could go wrong?? PLENTY!! Shelly Duvall stars as 'Wendy', Jack's wife. Their son Danny has a special gift. The music to the film is perfect. It's creepy, but it sets the mood very well into the story. This is a MUST SEE
