The Watcher (2000)
Bill & Ted's Homicidal Adventure
I really wanted to like this movie. I really did. Some people don't like Keanu as an actor, but I love a lot of the movies he's done (Matrix, Street Kings, Speed, Bill & Ted, Constantine & Devil's Advocate off the top of my head). That being said, this movie could've been so much better if they had casted ANYONE ELSE as the villain. Keanu's acting style does not fit the role, and it ends up becoming a worm hole that sucks the movie down. Also, the end features a particularly horrible use of CGI (trust me, you'll know it when you see it) that would've been acceptable if it came out in the 80s or early 90s. But considering this came a few years after The Matrix, there's no excuse. I give it a 5/10 for the writing and good casting for 99% of the roles. In short, don't spend money on this one.
Death Valley: The Revenge of Bloody Bill (2004)
Laughed....My...Ass....Off......LMAO
God.....where do I even begin. Lets list the positive first.
'Bloody Bill' does make for a potentially good movie character. Back story seems interesting. For some reason, I'm a sucker for redneck horror movies such as these (Wrong Turn, 2001 Maniacs, etc.)
*END*
Thats out of the way.
This movie is flat out retarded. The zombies weren't scary one bit. In fact, they were hilarious. When they chase the characters, it reminds me of the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episode when they used giant donuts to lure Homer clones into the ravine. The special effects range from cheesy to just sloppy, such as when the redhead was pistol whipping her zombie friends, but it just looks like she's brushing the gun against their face....all in all, don't waste your money or hardrive/IPod space on this....wait for it to come on SciFI and Laugh Your Ass Off
Shark Attack 2 (2000)
This movie degrades your intelligence
^^By that I mean this movie does much more than insult your intelligence. It pees on it, spits on it, then strips off its clothes and has it's with it it in the middle of a public place. I saw this on Sci-Fi, and normally I can sit through the BS movies they show, because they make for good time killers. This one was torture! It rips off Jaws, Deep Blue Sea AND Baywatch (the beach scene will kill you, seriously). The acting was mediocre at best (what's with the stereotypical Steve Irwin Australian?). I can't believe there's people here who actually gave it a 10. They must love sharks A lot more than humans, in creepy ways I don't even want to think about.
I'm done. I can't bear to think about anything else from this movie.
