A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (2019)

Loooooooong and Boring.

My son loves shaun the sheep. Yet all my son did through this was ask is it finished yet.

Animation is great but it was a really boring story.

It had a few little ha moment where it referenced HG Wells war of the world's, close encounters etc but there was barely a laugh in the cinema and there were loads of kids.

A shame :-/

The Lion King (2019)

CGI is Stunning. Voice Acting terrible

I have to say I went in with an open mind even though I adore the original.

Basically it's the exact same film except with stunning CGI. But that's it the choice of voice actors was terrible. The voices did not suit the film at all.

I'm not sure if it was just the showcase cinema I saw it at or if it's actually intended to be so quite. None of the music was hard hitting like the first and even James Earl Jones' voice did not boom like the original. I'm so disappointed.

Both Good & Bad

I saw this movie for the first time last night while on night shift, I started to watch the movie not realising the length of the movie, it got 90mins in and i had to flip the disc, but don't let that put you off that its 3hours long. The Movie was great, kept me entertained most the night, kept me awake, and made my night go quicker.

The problem with this film was the last 15-20mins, it was an appalling way to end the movie, seemed rushed to me, like he wasn't sure how to end or he ran out of time.

If it wasn't for that ending I would have given the movie an 8/10 but because of it i award 7/10
