The Frighteners (1996)
Two Words Can Tell You How Good This Movie Is: Peter Jackson
I think this is one of the greatest Horror-Comedies ever made. This film has some great spooky moments (You gotta love the FX on the reaper dude) and has some really funny moments too. This film had a great writer/director (he's finally being noticed (PJ directed all 3 chapters in THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY)). Another great thing about this film is how Jeffrey Combs stars as the goofy detective on the hunt for Frank Bannister. I hope everyone knows this, but if you don't, Jeffrey Combs played Dr. Herbert West in the H.P. Lovecraft tale, RE-ANIMATOR. Combs does an excellent performance in one of the best Horror films of the '90s.
Meet the Feebles (1989)
One Of The Weirdest Movies I've Ever Seen (10/10)
Meet The Feebles is one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen (and I mean that in a good sense). You have to see this movie to believe it. This movie has great scenes such as the rat making "adult" movies in the basement, Heidi and her machine gun, and even the rabbit and his "sickness". Definitely a great movie for a bunch of drunks to sit around and enjoy late at night.....
Bad Taste (1987)
The One That Started Peter Jackson's Career
What can you really say about BAD TASTE? This is the film that started Peter Jackson's career. Even though people are hearing his name ALOT now a days, (He directed all 3 chapters in THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY, but you knew that) true PJ fans will always know him as the man who created one of the biggest cult classics of all time, BAD TASTE. With this film, you can see the true genius of Peter Jackson and why he is now directing million-dollar movies. Watch BAD TASTE and see what I am talking about.....
ECW: Hardcore Revolution (2000)
ECW's First Game!
It's about time ECW got their own video game. ECW: Hardcore Revolution is the first ECW game ever. ECW: Hardcore Revolution is not as violent as ECW (it should be with an M rating), but at least they tried. The engine is the same as WWF: Attitude and WWF: Warzone, with just little differences. On the down-side of this game, it's pretty hard to do a finisher, but after a playing it a little, you'll get used to it. Overall, a pretty good game, especially with the first ever barbed-wire match, and has a great roster too (good to see some of the ECW greats like Raven, Sabu, RVD, and Rhino in a video game).
ECW: Anarchy Rulz (2000)
Great Game, Could Have Been Better
This is a great game but it could have been alot better. Some of the new matches (Dumpster, Brimstone (Inferno), etc.) could have been better but they weren't that bad. Another thing about ECW: ANARCHY RULZ is that it isn't as hardcore as ECW itself. Overall, a great game, especially for Dreamcast.
