Scooby-Doo (2002)
Ruined by Pop Culture
Scooby Doo is the most loved cartoon of all time for most of us. Warner Brothers absolutely destroyed the reputation of Scooby and the gang. They have been tainted with the culture of the newest generation. The movie was full of boring people and completely lacking of any mystery whatsoever. The ending was the worst ending ever, and to top it all off Scooby was designed by rejects with no imagination. Biggest disappointment ever, this movie belongs on the worst 100 movies of all time.
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (2001)
Final Fantasy is an amazing story that pleases the eye as well as the soul
This movie gives an alluring view into the future of animation. The creators of Final Fantasy did an excellent job building this storyline and inventing new characters that we will never get sick of. The movie is full of religion, philosophy, and unforgettable lessons about life and our species. This movie shows that we can find the strength inside of us to change the world for the better. At the same time it shows how disturbingly greedy and fearful human beings can be. It really shows that we do not appreciate our planet, or the "Spirit" that lives within it.
Final Fantasy is an amazing story that pleases the eye as well as the soul. The innovation of the creators, concerning vehicles, guns, and other inventions is amazing. It really looks like the future in this movie. The scenery and dream sequences are so vivid, they make regular movies look like sitcoms. The best thing about this movie is it goes places no camera crew could ever go, it creates landscapes and settings that are unimaginable until you see them yourself. Personally, I think this is the deepest, most inspirational movie ever made.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
The best story ever told on the big screen!
This movie had all the characteristics necessary to make history, from the best set design to the best cast. I thought the mood of the movie was perfect in every scene, and there was a perfect balance of emotions. I could truly feel the power of the ring in the eyes of each character who peered into it. I had doubts that Peter Jackson could successfully capture the greatest story ever told in a modern-day movie, but he did it. He converted Tolkien's masterpiece into the best story ever told on the big screen. I thought the set design was the most outstanding part of the movie, from the forrests of Lothlorien to the small town of the Shire. And I must say bravo to Ian McKellen, who deserves the award for best actor of the year for his impecable work in the role of Gandalf the Grey. The rest of the fellowship deserves all the credit in the world as well. If you miss this movie, you'll be the laughing stock at the water cooler!
