Law & Order: Last Dance (2024)
"Never get
Freudian on a man holding a pickle." One of Jack McCoy's best lines ever. Thank you, Sam Waterston Very sorry to see you leave Law and Order. The final episode was far from perfect, the writing for the reboot has been somewhat lazy and too comfortable. But I really enjoyed seeing Waterston in the courtroom instead of sitting behind a desk. His closing argument and final scene looking up at the courthouse was a nice send off. I gave the episode a 10 based on that.
I also enjoyed the scenes between McCoy and Price. Law and Order lost an icon and definitely won't be the same, Tony Goldwyn has some big shoes to fill. Will still be watching to see where the shows goes from here.
Good Sam (2022)
Deserved to be
Cancelled! What a poorly written, poorly researched show. Nothing feel good or uplifting about it. In real life, doctors and nurses show up to do their jobs and put their feelings aside, they are there for the patients. At a teaching hospital they are there to learn. On this show the residents are insubordinate and putting patients lives at risk. They seem to think they deserve a medal for doing their job even though they have had a bad day. Most of the characters were awful including Sam, just whiny, self centered and backstabbing to their friends and/or family. To the writers, next time do your research and learn how a hospital or anything you want to write about works.. this show was implausible and lazily written which is why it never gained an audience.
Schwarze Insel (2021)
Started out well
Then got unbelievable... the best character was Nina. The story did have a twist and loose ends tied up but was just an OK mystery drama. The scenery was beautiful.

Not sure
Why so many negative reviews. I loved this series, the storyline is a little complicated and I really needed to pay attention to each episode. The two leads were great and I enjoyed their backstories. The atmosphere was creepy and had some jump scare moments. Intriguing mystery. First few episodes move a little slowly but stick with it, the finale is great.
