It's a Disney sci-fi movie from 2009, did anyone expect it to be amazing? I think the reviews need to give this movie a little more credit. It had a fun plot about a boy getting superpowers from a UFO he and his brother found, which I enjoyed. The cheesy jokes, teen boy fantasy story, and mid-grade special effects didn't necessarily detract from the movie, and in my opinion gave it the sort of badly-aged energy that makes some older made-for-tv movies entertaining. If you're looking for a cheesy sci-fi movie to watch with the family, this one was fun and enjoyable!
