Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Jumped In (2023)
Long in the tooth
This show must still get decent ratings. I used to like it up until about 10 years ago. The stories are rehashed from the past but every so often I will tune in to see if the writers have something fresh. Even the acting, in large part, has become tedious.
I've got to say it. I can't believe a cop would do what Benson did when faced by a lethal threat. A "jump the shark" moment, just in case there hasn't been one at some point in the last ten years.
The newest L&O is so much better in my opinion. Maybe it should be moved up an hour, maybe two, and the other Law & Order shows on later. At least it is still better than any so called Reality Series I've ever seen a portion of.
Scream (2022)
Just plain silly
This movie is just plain silly. If you do not believe me waste your time and watch it. It is less than two hours so you will not have wasted a great deal of time. This last sentence should get me over the 250 character minimum.
The Werewolf of Washington (1973)
You don't want to watch this movie
Every aspect of this film is BAD. The script, direction, acting, editing, music, lighting, etc are so poorly carried out that it isn't even campy.
Spare yourself and don't watch this atrocity.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Parasites (2001)
Seems far fetched
All I could think once it was revealed that the sister switched places with her murdered sister was how did she fool the husband? She couldn't have known every detail of their life to pull that off. The sisters weren't that close.
The Beast with a Million Eyes (1955)
Burn the print!
Poor lighting has already been mentioned as one of this film's shortcomings. The continuity is poor as well. Near the end when the father arms himself, you will notice that he is likely to have a different weapon seconds later. Also notice when Richard (Dick) Sargent and the father recover his daughter that they had two rifles but arrive at the ranch with just one. Oh yeah, when the two left to go find her, the father left the house with a lever action but when they found the girl the father had a bolt action rifle. It was difficult to tell for certain, but it looked like Sargent had a shotgun, not a lever action. It was bad. Maybe I'll try to find Plan 9 to see if it is worse than "The Beast with a Million Eyes." At least I saw it on TCM and didn't have to suffer commercials as a previous reviewer was forced to do.
