Kyle XY (2006–2009)
9/10
Better Than Expected
27 November 2007
At first when I heard ABCfamily was making original series like "Wildfire" and "Kyle XY" I thought, "Oh no! My favorite channel is going to turn into the Disney Channel where there are no good shows or reruns playing, but a whole lot of original series that weren't even worth making in the first place." Then, when ABCfamily had a marathon over this show I thought I should watch it and just see if I liked it.

I did! By the time I saw the first episode of season 2, I was surprised at how addicting it really was. This was a show that portrayed real teens with a twist of sci-fi. Every show that's on late at night is either not appropriate to be watching or just a night time soap opera. This was neither.

Most teen shows now are obviously night time soap operas that never really portray the consequences of their actions. At first when I started watching an episode about Lori and her friend becoming "virgins" again I thought it was going to be a little dirty, instead, both she and her friend learned a valueable lesson in the end.

I can't wait till season 3 comes on. I'm definitely not going to miss anything!

Gilmore Girls (2000–2007)

A Lively, Happy Show
8 November 2007
This is a fun show to watch. It's smart, funny, creative, and lovable. The characters talk so fast that you have to be somewhat smart to keep up with the conversation, which makes the show both witty and funny.

Lorelei Gilmore is the best character on the show. With her sense of humor and charming personality she keeps the audience not only awake, but entertained as well. Her daughter, Rory, is very smart and down-to-earth, but never boring. The close-woven town of Stars Hollow only adds to the delight of the show. Luke, the diner owner is kind of grumpy, but it's not the kind of grumpy that makes the show dramatic, but just all the more humorous.

There is an equal amount of drama as well as comedy. The drama is pretty dramatic, making you crave to watch more of the show, but the comedy keeps it alive and happy.

If you get the chance to watch the show, please do! You won't be disappointed.

Pushing Daisies (2007–2009)

Interesting, Unexpected, and Funny!
18 October 2007
I'm usually not too interested in what's on TV now days, seeing that things usually fit into three categories 1)night time soap operas, 2)crime dramas, or 3)sitcoms that aren't that funny. Plus, most of the stuff is either too violent or too sexually related, two things that I hate to watch. But "Pushing Daisies" makes me feel like there's hope for TV again.

I saw an advertisement on TV and read some critic reviews thinking it sounded good enough to at least watch once. I turned on the TV to ABC on a Wednesday night around seven, and was captivated after just a few minutes! The show has a really good story line and is spunky and funny, even in the most intense moments. The writers do a very good job at having an interesting plot, making the unexpected happen, and adding just the right amount of comedy.

I hope that this show is on for a while.

The Cosby Show (1984–1992)

An Extraordinary Show With Ordinary People

This show is probably the best show that has ever been on TV. My mom loves it, and so does my brother and my friends that have seen it. This is one of those rare shows that kids and adults can sit down and watch together and both really enjoy.

Bill Cosby was always funny and always kept the show fresh. Raven Symone in the later seasons did a better job at acting than she did in "That's So Raven." Rudy was just the cutest little girl! This show was extraordinary, and so many people watch it, even still to this very day. Whether you're watching your first or one hundredth episode, it is just as entertaining. What made this show so entertaining and memorable was that they portrayed things that would happen in every day life. Many times when I watch this show I laugh just thinking that that sounds just like my life.

Whenever I'm sick or depressed I watch one episode of "Cosby" and I already feel better. I would definitely recommend this show.
