Swatantrya Veer Savarkar (2024)
A masterpiece
I went to the theater to see a movie because I had heard so much about Randeep Hooda's acting. But honestly, I didn't see him in the film at all. Was he really there? From the first frame to the end, all I could see was Savarkar, the Swatantraveer. I tried hard to spot Randeep Hooda, but I couldn't.
The Congress Party might make friends with Pakistani leaders, but they could never imagine respecting Savarkar! This lack of respect is one of the reasons our country was divided, not just into two parts but also into two religions. The Congress party dislikes Savarkar because of suspicions surrounding Gandhi's assassination, but they forget that their party has already killed Gandhi's principles through their own thoughts and actions.
Pondicherry (2022)
Excellent Plot with Beautiful Acting!!!
Pondicherry has a story which is really makes you think about different perspective of life, different perception of marriage and having children. It's cinematography, locations, dialogues are very good. Movie has a fresh look which makes you feel good!!
Entire movie is tightly roaming around the story. No time pass or useless scenes.
It has comedy, romance, seriousness, hope and facts.
Most important all actors acted very well! Specially, In each of the Project Sai Tamhankar is becoming better and better actress and now as a viewer we can see that she has a really good sense of selecting movies. She has proven herself in many roles having different shades!!
Unpaused: Naya Safar: Vaikunth (2022)
Hats Off Nagraj!!!
'Vaikunth' must be the best documentary ever made on the coronavirus... it shows you the reality of pandemic and at the same time it shows a perfect drama...Only you can do this Nagraj Manjule...Hats Off!!
Anumati (2013)
Probably the best one from Gajendra Ahire.
I have seen many films by Gajendra Ahire; but 'Anumati' is extraordinary!! Acting, direction, presentation, music and background music just holds you tightly in the film till the end. No doubt Vikram Gokhale won the national award for this film, but a minor role from Rima Lagoo is also a huge acting lesson. This story shakes you from within if you have truly loved someone; and if you didn't, this movie shows you what it feels like having such a loved one with you.
Badhaai Do (2022)
Well executed for Indian mentality
'Badhaai do' is a good film to deliver the message of acceptance for LGBTQ in an Indian society. I congratulate the entire crew for making it in such a way that entire family can watch it together with no awkwardness; that shows a genuine interest of movie makers to spread the real awareness. This is one of the best way/attempt to convince Indian society about the topic. It holds you from start to end, touches your emotions and highlights the issues as well in the end. Only the acceptance part was too quick and unrealistic BUT I think that's what the hope is from the makers' perspective.
Jhund (2022)
JHUND nahi MASTERPIECE kahiye....
If you are going to the theater to enjoy a movie with a popcorn mood and want a feel and drama of 'Chak de India'; sorry boss, Jhund is not that film. If you are expecting a team like 'Lagaan', backed by emotions and a mission, hang in there.
What you will see in 'Jhund' may not give you goosebumps; but surely, it will open your eyes if you are open-minded. Jhund will not show you any heroism, but it will show you REAL (not filmi) transformation of a 'Valya to Valmiki'. It will show you that side of India which is full of such street urchins who need a 'Barse sir' to make them what they deserve to be. And finally, it will show you the mirror to find and kill a bigot inside you. If you want to see this change and want the change in YOU; just go for 'JHUND'. For all others (who love to discriminate "them and us" ) the movie already has a message - "Hamari basti gutter me hai; Par tumhare dil me Gand Hai!!!"
