I have seen many argue that this movie is not nearly as good as Bale's Batman and that this movie is boring and uninteresting. But that is far from the truth. This movie is the accurate depiction of Bruce and Batman. They are MEANT to be dark, disturbed and a tortured soul. I think especially they have nailed Bruce Wayne. He never comes out, and is not a playboy billionare that we saw in Nolan's trilogy. I have also seen people bickering about how this movie is long and boring. You see, this movie is a detective noir film. It is a story about how Batman and commissioner Gordon solve puzzles and riddles to find the traumatized and psychopathic serial killer, The Riddler and not an action-packed superhero film many expect it to be. But I have to mention the beautiful cinematography by Greg Fraser and great direction by Matt Reeves.
