short film
'Otousan no tabako' is a short film. The protagonist is a young girl. Her father is recovering at home from an illness. He is bedridden. He also uses an oxygen mask. Despite his poor health, her father wants to smoke. He gives his daughter money and asks her to buy cigarettes for him. Her mother finds out and gets very angry. Undeterred, he asks his daughter again to buy him a cigarette. She is so distressed, and finally, the daughter gives the father a cigarette. However, he immediately throws it in the trash. She then stands by her father's side and reads aloud. This film makes me think a lot. It also raises a lot of questions. For example, why does the girl start reading and writing a picture book about a big turnip? It is worth a great deal to see. I hope many people will see it.

She thinks that Heinrich must have been taken away with the family. She runs to the train station and begs the soldiers to let her son go home. Many things happen after this. This film is 13 minutes long. A lot happens in that short time. And this film is about the Holocaust, the genocide of the Jews. So this film is very much worth seeing.

Fate leads them to a change in their relationship. As the title suggests, the film depicts three days in Kamakura. In just three days, many things happen. Lifted (2006)
animated short film
'Lifted' is an animated short film by Pixar. One night, a large UFO flies over a house in the middle of nowhere and attempts to take a sleeping resident inside. Inside the UFO, a green alien sits in front of a giant control panel and manipulates rays of light to lift the resident up. However, the alien, who is still an apprentice, is unable to control the UFO well, and the inhabitant ends up hitting the walls and ceiling. I like this movie. This is because although it is a short film of a little over five minutes, it has ups and downs within it and is very interesting. There is no dialogue, but it is relatively easy to understand. Through this film, I was reminded of the importance of not giving up after a single failure, as we saw the apprentice alien grow up. Everyone should watch this film.

However, the snowman does not know how to get out of the snow globe. He tries various things, including trying to scrape the wall with a hammer. Unfortunately, it does not work very well. This film depicts many attempts by the snowman trying his best to get out of the snow globe. There is no dialogue in this film. Without dialogue, you may find it difficult to comprehend. However, it is easy to understand the content. Even a young child would understand this film. I recommend this film because the pictures are cute and the story is interesting. I think this film is worth seeing. I hope as many people as possible will see it.
J'attendrai le suivant... (2002)
short film
'I'll wait for the next one' is a romance short film. There are many women and men on the train. Single women are also riding the train. Suddenly, a single man starts talking. He says that he has been single for three years and wants to get married. He asks women on the train to get off at the next station if they would like to date him.
A woman gets off at the next station. But the man who started the story does not get off. He stays on the train.
This movie is a dialogue movie, but the main character never speaks. Therefore, it must be read in the same way as a film without dialogue. It was a little difficult for me to understand the revelation at the ending, but when I did, it was very interesting. So, in my opinion, 'I'll wait for the next one' is worth seeing.

Two Strangers Who Meet Five Times (2017)
review
'Two Strangers Who Meet Five Times' is a short film. Alistair and Samir meet five times. The first time they meet in the sandbox when they are young, the second time in front of an ATM, and the third time when Alistair has an interview to join Samir's company. The fourth time is when Alistair is homeless and asking for money on the street. The fifth time is when Alistair comes to help out at a care home for the elderly. When they are old enough to meet, they can put aside their prejudices and meet each other. This film,'Two Strangers Who Meet Five Times', is a little difficult to understand on first viewing. But after you see it a few times, you will understand. I think that this film is worth seeing.
Chichi to musume (1959)
Moving short film
'Father & Daughter ' is an animated short film. At the beginning of the story, the father goes on a trip alone on a boat. The daughter is waiting for her father to return. There is no dialogue, only music, so you have to understand the story from the images on the screen. Since I have not seen many films like this, I found it a little difficult to understand the story from the images on the screen. This is a difficult but important skill. There are not many films like this and I think everyone should see this one. There was great music playing the whole time and it was interesting to grasp the story from the screen. It can be interpreted in many different ways. I think this film is worth seeing.
