Conspiracy

Adds nothing new and just gives airtime to conspiracy theorists. Each person sounds more far out than the other and they seem to be trying to outdo one another with outlandish suggestions.

It's such a tragedy that so many people inexplicably lost their lives and these conspiracies don't help anyone at all they do is blame the pilot or governments.

I'd expect these types of conspiracy theorists to be on some YouTube channel or other random social media but to give it the Netflix production treatment and airtime beggars relief.

The whole thing could have been done in one episode but due to repetition they've managed to drag it out over 3 episodes.

The Mummy (1999)

Fun film

This film doesn't pretend to be competing for any awards neither will it win any. However it's a real feel good movie with perfect casting. It has done funny moments and good actin scenes. Brendan Fraser is at the peak of the powers in this film and nails his part to perfection. The story is easy to follow and with some good comedic scenes by John Hannah. I have watched this film more than once and I never tire of watching it. I wish the sequels were as good as this movie. The special effects look dated now but they have aged better then other films that were released in and around the same time.

Andor (2022– )

Star Wars how it should be done

This series gets better and better each episode. The mandalorian is more of a kids show and this is more for the grown ups. Diego Luna is great as always and the special effects put some of the more recent Star Wars films to shame. Rogue one is by far the best Disney era Star Wars film and this series is by far the best Disney era Star Wars show. I'm so glad that this show won't be just a one of and another series is planned as I don't want this show to end. The music has been done really well and catches the mood of the show perfectly. The story is well paced but does ramp up each episode. Keep it up Disney.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022– )

Brilliant!

I don't get all the hate for this show. The story is well paced enough for you to you understand all the various inter stories and how they tie up. This is no easy feat. Robert Aramyo, Morfyyd Clark and Ismael Cruz Cordova are the stand out performers in this show and are absolute perfect casting in their roles. Prime have spared no expense as the special effects will put most major films to shame. The various lands look absolutely stunning. This show does the famous LOTR books justice and that's all as fans we ever wanted. A great start and I can't wait to see how the stories and characters develop over coming seasons.

Who Killed the KLF? (2021)

Boring

I don't understand the point of this documentary, it brings nothing new and is just boring. Your better off reading on wiki about the band and your find in 5 mins of reading. Why we're your time watching this for 1hr 40 mins you'll never get back.

Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)

Not as funny or as good as Ragnorak

This film is ok but nothing special. It doesn't feel as funny or as well made as Ragnorak and has that rushed sequel feel to it. There are some decent scenes but nothing that will stay in the mind once you've watched. It. Christian Bales performance is good and he makes the rest of the cast seem like weak actors. Worth watching but don't expect to be blown away.

The Black Phone (2021)

Very good thriller

This film was a lot better than I expected it to be. The story keeps you guessing and gripped the whole time. The acting is superb, Ethan is genuinely scary and the two kids are brilliant. Definitely a worthwhile watch.

The Last Samurai (2003)

Beautifully shot, even more beautiful soundtrack

The cinematography of this film is beautiful, for some reason this film goes under the radar for one if Tom Cruise's films. The story is so powerful and it makes you quite emotional at times. The soundtrack by Hans Zimmer is unreal, when you consider he's German and he has hit the Japanese themes. Some of the dialogue from this film will stay with you for a long time. Watch this film, you don't be disappointed.

The Boys (2019– )

Avengers, only in the real world

This show is one of my faves. Initially when i saw the trailer I just thought it's a cheap version of DC or Marvel characters. Boy was I wrong! Each actor has been perfectly cast in their roles but shout out to Anthony Starr who is simply terrifying! Season 3 has now begun at the time of me writing this review and the show gets better and better as you get to know each character more 10/10.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker (2019)

Disappointed

I'm a massive Star Wars fan and couldn't wait for this final episode in the Skywalker saga. This film is totally incoherent to the last Jedi. It shows that they had different writers with each of the films. Disney got Marvel so right with Kevin Feige overseeing the films. They got it so wrong with the final Star Wars films as they definitely would have benefitted having someone overseeing the story arch. It's such a crying shame as there was so so much potential for these films to be revered as classics. The prequel films over time have gained respect, I don't think these will. The rise of Skywalker doesn't feel like a film that's actuality been shot, it just simply feels like someone's found some unused footage and put it together to get a film out. I've rated the film as a 5 but the only reason it's not any lower is because of the cast.
