An absolutely amazing movie

This is indeed a true gem of a picture.

It's both very precise, honest and authentic.

A perfect cast, truly - where Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike does an outstanding performance of seldom quality.

This is not the average action western, it's is (luckily) in a slow pace and with focus on character build and exploration, near perfection.

But there certainly scenes of violence and there are very intense moments and I was utterly consumed by the story and the narrative of the movie, in a good way, but it was also an emotional ride, so to speak...

I can hardly recommend this movie enough, I have seen it 3 times and it's still equally good.

Also I love the fact that Whites are not shown as absolute devils, as it is a common practice nowadays, at least the Indians are also show to be as vicious and evil as they were.

What a movie!

Speak No Evil (2022)

Something very much out of the ordinary!

Something new from dansih writer and actor Christian Tafdrup (and his brother).

A very interesting, informative and unnerving movie indeed.

It perfectly shows the utter weakness of modern western Europeans in general, Scandinavians in specific.

In short, not to give awah to many spoilers, it's about a liberal Danish family from the upper middle calls, where the mother is the stereotypical domineering, illogical, unwise and somewhat childish working mom.

The father is the typical modern effeminate, emasculated, weak, confused and immature male, whom is an utter pushover.

The daughter is an irritating and untutored / poorly raised brat, although that might be a little hard / over the top description.

On a summer vacation to Italy they meet a Dutch family with a son around the same age as Agnes, the daughter of the Danish family.

During their vacation the spend a lot of time with the Dutch family and some time after they get back home the get a post card from the Dutch family, whom invited them to visit, something they agrees to do - and that's when things get interesting indeed.

The film perfectly illustrates the consequences of having poor situational awareness, having trouble standing up for ones own personal moral and ethical principles and opinions.

To me this movie is a lot deeper than meets the eye, so to speak, and I think it is sort of an allegory on both modern (debased) western culture, family values (or the lack thereof) and the unnatural roles of the sexes in the average western families and how this will play into the dire straits of the western world during times of immense amounts of migration from very foreign cultures, how this might influence Europe and what the future very might look like and in a not so far future.

I highly recommend that you watch this movie and preferably with people whom are politically correct.

Don't read to much about the movie and avoid the trailers and you think about the deeper meanings and talk it over after watching in.

A Great Realistic Show

This is not only an interesting, engaging and well written show, it also brings the viewers an important understanding of the corruption and outright perversion of the police and especially of the judiciary system that took place from the late 1960s till the 1980s.

This kind of shows with both a cultural criticism and truly moral heroes and bad guys are sadly something of the past nowadays - and they are needed like never before.

And unlike modern shows it has a moral side that we also got from the old westerns.

The camaraderie between the lead actor and his partner is trustworthy and warm.

I personally love shows like this.

It's nostalgic, atmospheric and honest in my opinion.

If anyone can recommend shows alike this I'll appreciate recommendations!
