The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
Flawless Perfection
There are many movies that will leave me wanting more. This movie was one of them. It is about a man, Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins),who is sentenced to prison for life, for the murder of his wife and her lover. He then meets another inmate who is sentenced for life as well, Ellis Redding (Morgan Freeman). Ellis, who has been there for about 30 years , befriends Andy and tells him about the way of life in the Shawshank Prison. I believe the choice of actors was superb. I think the movie would have gotten out of hand if Tim Robbins wasn't cast for the part of the soft-spoken Andy. There were parts in the movie that would have been completely ridiculous and impossible if he didn't take them and create a surrealism around it. As for Morgan Freeman, what can I say. His narraration was informative . He was also perfect for the role if Ellis. During the whole duration of the movie I couldn't find one part that he hesitated or he looked as if his emotions weren't for real. The plot is simply outstanding and the movie has a very clever and witty end. It is amazing how Frank Darabont was able to piece this movie together and create such a perfect end to a perfect movie. RATING ***** out of ****
Army of Darkness (1992)
Awesome film!!!!!Great effects for its time!!!!!
This is by far my most favorite movie! I don't think that its really that scary but its got some points that make you think "What if that was me?" Still Bruce Campbell lives up to his name as the chainsaw hackin', shotgun weilding, one liner that captures us all. It starts off showing the end to Evil Dead 2 (Which also is a great movie!)when Ash gets sucked into the portal and transferred to medieval times where he is sentenced to die in the pit(a classic scene). He proves he is worthy in the pit and asks the wiseman to teleport him back to normal time. To do this he must retrieve the Necronomicon. Then thats where the journey begins! Its a great movie and I really recommend all to see.
Braindead (1992)
Absolutely Disgusting!!!
This movie most definitly beat out the "Evil Dead" movies for the most goriest film I have ever seen. Who could forget the line "Lionel, your mother ate my dog!". And the classic dinner scene. This movie also changed the way I thought about zombie sex (not that im obsessed with it) and priests. And my favorite scene is definitly the classic lawnmower scene. After seeing this movie i warn all, NEVER PISS ON A GRAVE!!!!
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
My favorite video game, a movie!!!
Now, Im definitly not the best film critic (if you've read any other of my comments) but i will say this is definitly Peter Jacksons BEST movie since Braindead(Dead-Alive)! My favorite character is definitly Legolas Greenleaf, The Elf. Orlando Bloom was terrific in shooting those arrows as rapidly as he did. The film left me in awe as I left the theater so I went home borrowed the books from my friend and began reading. I definitly recommend this movie to anyone, any age. I felt like I was a part of the movie too. I feel if i was a character in this saga then i would want to be Legolas or an elf because elves rule! Im definitly going to see this again!!!
Comedy Central Presents: Zach Galifianakis (2001)
Hysterical!!!
Anyone who doesn't know about Zach G(w/ the long last name) will soon hear his name (Hopefully) in the near future. I really enjoyed his performance and if your able to catch it on Comedy Central Presents than I recommend you watch it. He had me splitting at the sides!!!
Jeepers Creepers (2001)
Thats not my scarecrow?!
Most films like "The Exorcist", Friday the 13th", Nightmare on Elm Street", and "Halloween" rocked the 70's and 80's. I believe that "Jeepers Creepers" is going to rock the 2000's!(?)This movie is sharp and surprising and it delivers. I reccomend it to anyone!

The Exorcist (1973)
A must see for all seeking a scare!!!!!!!!
When I saw the exorcist it was in a dark room w/ my father. I was not ready for extreme fright that was going to overwhelm me and almost change the way i thought forever. There was a big controversy on this movie in that many people found it went against their religion. I recommend this to all who seek to be scared or changed.
