Half Baked (1998)
This Movie Is Da Bomb
I saw this movie when it was on Comedy Central and thought it was the best movie of the 90's. I loved watching Dave Chappelle's role as Thurgood Jenkins and compared to when he did the comedian on The Nutty Professor in 1996. I was surprised to see Willie Nelson and Bob Saget and Snoop Dogg and Jon Stewart in this movie. Also I was curious about that guy on the couch. What was his name if he did have one? I think Tamra Davis did a wonderful job directing and writing the script. So if anyone hasn't seen this movie yet, I'd highly recommend it to those of you curious about it. Go out and buy it. Enjoy and thank you very much. I would again recommend this movie to any and everyone who hasn't seen it.
Riding in Cars with Boys (2001)
This Movie Hits Home Some How
This movie I'm sure hits home for some people. I'm sure there isn't someone out there who can relate to Beverly D'onofrio in one way or another. She's 15 years old and pregnant. Her boyfriend walks out on here and has her raise the baby all by herself. So I'm sure there isn't some older generation person who can relate to this movie somehow. I enjoyed watching this movie didn't like the fact that it took place back when time was when a man could buy a pop for only 50 cents. Also what was up with Steve Zahn's character? I couldn't understand him nor could I see life from his perspective. So all I have to say is if you haven't seen this movie yet watch it and see if you can relate to it.
Chariots of Fire (1981)
Great Movie
I would have to say that this movie brings out the best in all of us. I mean it kind of illustrates the champion in all of us. We have to look deep down in our hearts and find the athlete we were destined to become. I never was an athletic person in high school but this movie really showed me what an athletic person I can become. Also since it was done in the early 80's I understand the hard work that went into this movie. I also understand that movies were done only at the cost of the crew. I have no idea of who Eric Liddell is but I know he is a damn fine athlete. Thank You everyone and God Bless. I hope that there will be more movies like this one in the near future of movie making.
Pinwheel (1976)
Where Has The Time Gone?
I remember this show sort of (I'm now 22 years old). I remember watching it when I was a kid. It would be on in the afternoon during the week and I'd watch it from beginning to end. I only remember listening to the theme song at the end of the show and feeling all kiddish again. Oh how I wish that Nickelodeon would bring it back to me all these years later. It would take me back to when I was 2 years old again. The best years of my life were when I was young. Anyways I'd have to say that I don't remember the human actors or the puppets used in this show but I do remember the opening song and how the whole show started. So if anyone from my time frame remembers this show as well as i do then so be it. Thank You.

What A Way To Close Out The 90's
I would have to say that this show really hit home for me because it always has a way of reminding us of what life as a family is really like. I mean I would watch this show and think to myself "Yes this is what life was like in the early 90's." John Goodman is the best as Dan Coonner sort of the head of household. I have a tape of the first season episodes and one of the best episodes on this tape is when Bev Harris comes to visit and Darlene (Sarah Chalke) gets jealous because older sister Becky gets to go out and she doesn't. I would have to say there are a lot of people who can relate to this show one way or another. Also, the episode when Jackie gives birth is also one of my favorites. Thank you very much IMDb.
For Richer or Poorer (1997)
Great movie just great
I think this is the best movies of the 90's. Great humor from Tim Allen and Kirstie Alley. Who knew? Also, the comedy great Tim Allen used his line from Toy Story "I come in peace." Has anyone noticed that yet? This is the best Tim Allen performance I've seen so far. Thanks and also I'd like to say that they should do a sequel of this movie somehow. I first watched this movie about 2 years ago and fell in love with it immediately. Kirstie Alley always does her best to keep herself looking so good in movies I think. I definitely would recommend this movie to my friends and to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. Keep up the good work Tim Allen.
A Walton Thanksgiving Reunion (1993)
Great movie just great
I appreciated this movie very much. I enjoyed how they showed how much everyone had changed from the season. First they showed what they looked like in the series then what they looked like after the series. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much John Walton had changed since the series. He had such white hair and I think takes after his father Zeb Walton. I didn't know he made a mistake when he said "oh Pa. It's been 15 years and I miss you like it was yesterday." Then he says " I remember you once told me there's no pain like the one your kids can give you." I really took that to heart. I have to say I put my self in his place and could see where he was coming from. The mother look like she was getting tired of doing her role as Olivia Walton. Anyways, I really do hope they do a reunion movie again real soon. Thank you.
Mama's Family (1983)
Nobody Does It Like Vicki
I think Vicki Lawrence as Mama was the absolute best portrayal of a mother that I have ever seen. I immediately fell in love with this show that show from the very first time I saw it. I enjoyed how Vinton would do things like pawn off Mama's silver to get his friend Claude out of jail and then he goes and tell Mama what he did. Also how could anyone forget Carol Burnett as Eunice? She did the best she could as Eunice Higgins. My favorite episode is when Mama and Eunice are in jail because of Eunice's hissyfit at the Bigger Jigger. She finds out that years before an old boyfriend named Duke Reeves comes over to her house but gets sent away by Mama. That was one of my favorite episodes in the whole series. When it comes out on DVD I'm so getting it. Long live Mama and Eunice. Thank you
A Walton Easter (1997)
One of the best 90's reunion movies for the Waltons I've seen
I think this movie follows right along with the others. Kate McNiel was wonderful as Janet Walton. Though she was pregnant she looked beautiful in this movie. For some reason I thought that Kate McNeil was the same in all the Waltons movies in the 90's. I do hope they do another reunion movie sometime in the 2000's because I would like to know what each Walton family member is up to especially the father. Thank you and I think that Richard Thomas wouldn't mind telling us about how his two children are up to. Also I would like to see what the father is up to. Even though they might be too old to play the Waltons I think it would still be nice to see everyone again. Maybe they could do one around the time the space shuttle Columbia disaster. I don't know.
A Walton Wedding (1995)
Great reunion flick
This movie was a good reunion movie. Although I'd have to say that John-Boy Walton looked way to different than in the series. He looked like something the cat dragged in. As for Olivia Walton, I'd say she looked older than she really was. John Walton looked a little tired in my opinion. He looked like he was getting tired of doing Waltons reunion movies. I barely recognized Judy Norton as Mary Ellen Walton. It just goes to show that not much has changed since the 80's reunion movies. Just one thing I didn't get was why did they have the original cast in the 90's movies and not in the 80's movies. Someone please help me understand the role of Olivia Walton in this movie as opposed to the series. Thank you and God Bless the Waltons. As they say at the end of an episode "Good night".
The Breakfast Club (1985)
One of the best roles I've ever seen Judd Nelson play
This movie is the best I think I've ever seen Judd Nelson play as a criminal. It's no wonder they decided to have Mr. Nelson play the role as John Bender. Now I won't lie to you this movie does have some bad spots. But then again all movies in the 1980's did. I can really relate to this movie someway. I wasn't like Bender or anything. But the principal Richard Vernon had a bad attitude I'd say. I didn't understand the scene where Carl the janitor catches Richard Vernon in the basement going through the files. Principal Vernon asks Carl for $50.00 in exchange for a secret. Also, I watch this movie and wonder what life for high school students was like then compared to now. Thank you.
It (1990)
The BEST Tim Curry performance I've EVER seen
I think Tim Curry is at his best as Pennywise the Clown. This is one of his best performances ever in my book. His next best performance was as the hotel concierge in the movie Home Alone 2 Lost in New York. As for IT I will say that he does the best as the clown. I was reading somewhere that the clown suit he wore was so realistic and horrifying that he (Tim Curry) was avoided all during the production of the movie. I'm afraid to look through my picture book because it might come to life and jump out at me. Also I would have to say that Pennywise the Clown really scared the living crap out of me the very first time I saw it. As for the other actors, I was surprised to see Richard Thomas and John Ritter together again. I remember seeing them on The Waltons and had no idea they were in It. Well, all I have to say is don't watch this movie at night because then you will probably have nightmares. I think Bill's wife is OK. So with that I will sign off and say that they float down here.
Grease 2 (1982)
Grease 2
I thought this movie was OK but I still like the first one was better. This movie isn't even as good as the original. There's a dorky chick in this version. Also I would say that the first movie had a few more songs in it that made sense. And, I think this movie follows right along with the original in that the orders of the songs. They always say that originals are better than the sequel. In this case that is so true. Please enjoy reading this comment. I enjoyed watching Miss McGee in the original but in this one she kind of looks older. This movie came out in the early 80's and I was born in 1985. So that is all I have to say. Thank you and enjoy the show.
