The Grand Tour: The Grand Tour: Eurocrash (2022)
This summer's best entertainment.
Just watched it while laughing my heart out.
This is as good as it gets, when it comes to entertainment. The British humour is hilarious, and they even got Nigel Mansell on board for a bit of good 'ol English English.
This isn't just a show for people who loves cars.
I would say this is a show for people who likes comedy, spectacular scenery, and "a bit" of shenanigans.
You wouldn't believe what happens in this episode.
And I learnt a lot of things that I really had no clue was true.
Loved every every minute of this one, and I just have to rewatch the other ones now - because I am so sad the episode is over.
Have fun viewers.
Jury Duty (2023)
Just finished season 1
Ok. I have never quite seen anything like this.
I was really wondering how something like this could work, without Ronald discovering everything is fake.
There are tons of things that could go wrong all the time, and the actors would have to just "go with the flow" every time.
There is no cut and action here.
And everything is set up all the way.
From him not wanting to be the foreperson, but accepting because they push him a little.
It was very clever.
Episode 7, you could really see that he cares about this fake case, and took his role as foreperson very serious.
Last episode was GREAT, and I am not going to reveal anything here.
9/10.
Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
Nr.1 was 100 times better
I know this is not what everyone likes.
But, I feel that I need to say this.
I remember nr.1, what feelings that sounded in me.
It was so perfect.
The perfect villain,,,
The perfect hero,,,
The perfect story,,,
I knew it had to do with water, and that world, but it was not exactly what I thought it would be.
I feel that this lacks in very much.
It's the same bad guy, that is worse.
It's the same premise, that is worse.
What I feel now now is where will Cameron go with this?
How will this give premise to three new films?
And why can this help get the franchise to the better since film nr.1?
I am excited to see.
I love Cameron btw.
Yellowstone: Watch 'Em Ride Away (2022)
Maybe the best episode I have seen for this show.
For me, when I started watching Yellowstone, it was mainly because of Kevin Costner.
The story they have put together here along these 5 seasons, have been truly beautiful.
I have thought that maybe this season will slow down, and I was not quite happy with the first episodes.
But then this episode happens.
I loved every bit of it.
The confrontation between vegan and you know who, was truly so so good.
Costner is still king, and Kit is perfect as his sidekick that was taken in when he had no place to go.
A bit of backstory is also very fitting.
I know that many of my fellow viewers share my opinion, in saying - this might be my favourite episode yet!
Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
Sometimes I lack words, BUT
This is one of those rare movie happenings.
Where the sequel is better than the original.
It happened with Terminator.
It happened with The Dark Knight.
It happened with Logan
It happened with Good,Bad,Ugly.
IT HAPPENED WITH TOP GUN.
9/10
I will not spoil anything.
I will encourage everyone to watch the 1986 first.
This movie is a light in trying times.
Tom Cruise FTW.
Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)
First 2 episodes
Episode 1 was good I think.
Episode 2:
But then Disney turns on the train wrecking.
Reva gets to really show-off, and kills(?) The Grand Inquisitor. That was horrible.
And Leia made me so mad. Every time she opened her mouth, I wanted to turn off my TV.
Leia is in for 6 episodes, and Luke for only 2.....
Ewan McGregor is perfect as always, and is a joy to watch.
The Batman (2022)
Something is missing here
Batman acts more like a detective, running around not knowing he is wearing a Batman suit.
Catwoman went woke.
Villains are not good. Riddler trying very hard to copy The Joker (Heath Ledger)
No Batman tech to speak of.
Missing that Batman feeling.
(Music was good though, but somehow it always is in Batman movies)
Ozark: The Beginning of the End (2022)
Why turn?
Why turn on your family like that?
Just for a chance of a bit of action?
I did not like that.
Only seen the first episode of s4.
I know this is not right, but I got a bit mad.
Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father (2022)
Should have stayed in prison
It just doesn't make sense for Dexter killing his way out of prison, when he clearly still has a good chance of getting out legally.
And imagine those great episodes we could have had, with Batista meeting him again.....
And Harrison was not in any real danger anyway.
A very rushed ending, and that's sad considering this season otherwise was very good.
Green Book (2018)
It just makes me believe in humanity
Wonderful performances by the lead actors.
What got to me, was the letter to his wife.
I know this movie is about more serious matters, but the way they connected in that situation - got to me.
I think everyone should see this movie.
The Outlaws (2021)
Enjoyable!
I am just 2 episodes in, but I like this.
A few irritating aspects in the dialogue, especially when it comes to the old rasta lady.
But I am also posting this because I am desperate to find out the tune that is playing in the background of episode 2.
(instrumental)
It reminds me a bit of music from old western movies.
BBC have no posting of it, so I am hoping that IMDB could find this out and post it in the soundtrack.
But as said - good entertainment.
Vikings: The Lord Giveth... (2020)
It's pretty good.
I liked what they did with the trap.
But who brings their baby to a battle?
(The Queen)
And that was not believable for me.
I think otherwise it was not bad.
Invasion (2021)
Review for 3 first episodes
It's very little sci-fi, and MUCHO MUCHO drama.
(With the usual wokey wokey)
They killed off Sam Neill in the first episode, so he was just a name to draw people in.
When the bus drove off the cliff, they could not have survived that - no way.
The whole world thinks it's a terror attack, and we get no inside information about what the different governments are doing.
We only follow people that are in different drama situations (and almost nothing from the actual invasion)
The Iraq scenes, were the best, although that is not saying much I'm afraid.
Painful 3 hours.
The Morning Show (2019)
Season 1 GREAT
Season 2:
Wining.
Just nothing going on.
The only thing I like is Mitch's storyline.
Midnight Mass (2021)
it was good
Did u read the original
Did ur daddy tell u to
read the original
Or else.
It was good.
The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018)
I LOVE the Coen Brothers
But.
This is a polished turd.
And what really annoys me, is that some "famous" critics, are telling me that this is really almost the greatest movie ever made!
And that every human being on the planet knows what that critic knows.
(Yes I am referring to IMDB's critic of this movie)
Well.... I am sure to be deleted this time.
Cannibal Holocaust (1980)
Cannibalism
Just saw it, and I must first say if it was real what they did to the animals - it really does not make the movie any better.
With that said, I think the message the filmmakers tried to send here - was that we should not interfer in something that works.
I hope you understand here.
Do NOT interfer in something that works for some people - do not try to change that.
LET IT BE.
Before Sunset (2004)
Saw both
Very Beautiful.
It is like something that should happen in this life for all time.
No trouble. Just two people connecting in real life, like for a fine background.
I would love for this to be the best love movie for everyone.
Saving Private Ryan (1998)
Tom Sizemore is my favourite
Maybe the most perfect war movie that I have seen.
Tom Hanks, marvellous as always.
But what really made this movie for me, was the acting of Tom Sizemore.
(I know the others too - was incredible)
He reminds me of this friend of mine, that would do anything for you,
and still have a smile - and just carry on.
Everyone should see this movie.
Manifest (2018)
Just watch LOST again.
That's what this is, only worse.
It's like meeting "the others", just to find out how incredible horribly bad acting really can be to watch.
And if you know how lost ends, just try to think of a worse ending and I guess you will find your answer here.
Save your time and money.
It would be better to just watch ants to their thing.
Logan (2017)
Someone can make a movie
This is just great!
It has it all.
I loved it.
Almost perfect really.
Creds to all who made this movie.
Someone understands how to do it proper.
Loved it 9/10.
Crazy Heart (2009)
Oscars well deserved
I love this movie.
And the music as well.
I cannot understand how this has below 8.5 rating.
A truly great movie.
It's just that we are all different I guess.
Snowpiercer: Into the White (2021)
Better than orcs.
Or I would rather that orcs took over the train.
Who cares about this trainwreck?
The Walking Dead: Diverged (2021)
why?
Why do this?
Why do this to this once great franchise??
TiMER (2009)
If I made a movie about love
It starts good.
Ends really really bad.
The creator of this must have serious psychological issues.
Too much disney for her.
